I merely stated about Mark Mexico having to speak good English to come and work here,and stated you don't have to speak English to come and get benefits,don't think I'm in the minority there.Tigertot came in with an unprovoked attack towards me because of that.Im the victim,also as you can see on my previous post I have walked away from an arguement

Didn't Hull KR put out a statement recently saying that their two PNG signings may not end up coming, due to similar visa problems? Something about them having to wait ages for their visas, meaning they'll miss all of pre-season?

Would stand to reason that Mexico is having the same issue. A shame if we can't take him on though, as it would solve the current issue of the lack of prop cover, and they can justify it by saying he is Winterstein's replacement (since the club did say anyone leaving would be replaced).

Im sure the link with the university could help with this, im sure i read somewhere its how sheffield manage to get people like Menzie Yere over here by going through Sheffild Hallam, bringing them on student visas but are able to be employed

It could but as suggested by Broadybull, an enrolment as a student is a legitimate solution if the visa also gives a right to work.

Depends on what the reason was that the two kr were after couldn't get visas. If article linked is correct Mexico hasn't been refused he just can't take English speaking test for a few weeks. That's probably not a bad thing from our POV as I'd assume we don't have to start paying him until he arrives and we don't actually need him until one of existing props picks up a knock.

I would be surprised to hear he can't speak any English, he may just have basic that does not qualify him a certain visa, how do football teams get around it they bring in players who can speak no English?
