You all overlook that most of Warrington's players are more than happy to play for minimum wage, or free, just to have the kudos and glory of being able to pull on a Wire shirt and run on the hallowed turf of the HJ.

It does appear that people here don't understand that if we were to sign a player, we may actually release others to fit them under the salary cap.
Mad thought aint it?
I do struggle to understand how we stay under the salary cap when our squad contains such household names as Riley, O'Brien, Harrison, Cooper, Higham, Williams, Currie, Blythe, McCarthy, Dwyer and Evans.

We have quite a few players out of contract at the end of the year. Including Morley, Soloman & Higham who if rumours are to be believed wont be given new contracts.
That should free up a bit of space? |
