The thing is, we don't currently have an overseas spot free for him to take do we?

Might be that we de-register Jeffries until his passport arrives?
We have enough cover for his position, at the moment.

That might be a sensible move for the club to take. After all, HKR were allowed to do it for Mason.

| Agree with the above, we have enough cover in that position ATM and we need another prop or loose forward urgently, how we can compete without lynch (if rumours are true?!) and the rumour of fozzard is a joke he isn't going to beef up our pack is he!

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

| on the whole I think bringing morro in at loose would be a good move as long as he isn't going to be expected to carry the pack, if so he'll miss more games than he plays. That said we still need another prop to replace Lynch if he goes

Or....agree in principle (privately) with GM that he will sign for the club and in the interim await BJ's passport, whilst Morrison also awaits his. Given it's 5 months until the season starts, it seems a logical punt for all parties.

Wakey fans seem to think Morrison is off quota next year, presumably due to getting a uk passport. If that's true then it seems a no brained to re-sign him providing we have cap space.

Why on earth would he want to come to Bradford when he has the chance to work with Richard Agar?

Well, given he and his wife seem very settled over here, it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to go for a uk passport. But as Stuart Duffy explained at the fans forum, it's not as simple as just applying for a passport. He has to go through a loyalty ceremony and then physically get hold of the passport before he can come off.

True but that's just timing. As long as we know he's getting passport there's nothing to stop us signing him and just not registering him with rfl until all formalities are finalised.

| I might have got it wrong here but dosent Moro only count on the overseas quota and not the non fed trained because he's been here so long?
And Sammut only counts on the non fed trained quota because he has a Maltese passport?
So no need to deregister anyone

Overseas quota is full until Ben gets his UK passport?

Correct. But if wakey fans are right more could be getting a passport too removing any problem anyway.

No can do I'm afraid to for him to sign any contract he has to show our friends at the UK border agency he has a right to work in this country.

He can sign a contract (which will have an impact on the salary cap) but the Bulls don't have to register him with the RFL.
I think it's the same rule that HRK applied with the Mason/Dobson saga
