Indeed!
He seems well behind the Bulls and the stories printed, whilst they could be described as "slightly biased ( in a good way of course!  )" are essential in raising the profile of the club in the area, getting the buzz back for the club and hopefully, getting folk back through those gates!
He has also been very supportive of the newly formed supporters trust, which is worth a mention in it's own right IMO.

I like him. He's far better than the doom monger the T&A used to have.
I hope his match reports turn out to be blinkered and one sided towards the Bulls as they should be in the local paper.

That's all well and good but if he wants to establish a career as a RL writer he'll have to lose the partisan bias, especially if he wants to follow in the hallowed footsteps of the likes of Ray French, Eddie Hemmings and John Ledger.

'Sledger' is a Cas fan though. He's definitely written some pretty negative stuff about Leeds in the past, although IIRC this was a few years ago. I put him in the category of stereotypical flat cappers who like to get a dig in at the first hint of bad news about the sport. |

| He is a much better reporter and the articles are so much better than last and previous years. He's a nice bloke too and seems to have a genuine love for Rugby League (I seem to remember him mentioning doing some coaching or helping out at a youth team somewhere, but I should be careful about what I remember from those days  ). |
