In oxymoron terms.... the silence is deafening!

We looked knackered before the game started to be fair.

| Quote: Bull Mania "Would love to know how we scored our 2 tries. We didn't look like scoring with one out rugby all game. '"
Well, we did, O'Brien was desperately unlucky to be denied. You must have not been watching it.
Quote: Bull Mania "Gale class? Really? Could have sworn we were getting tonked this season with him in side. I haven't seen him do anything classy this season. '"
Well, he has. You must not have been watching the Warrington game.
Quote: Bull Mania "He's certainly better than Addy. Can Brook do any worse? He's been doing great in academy. Being able to pass would make him a better option than Addy. Cummins doesn't seem to want to give young players ago, hence him constantly putting wingers on bench and bringing our young SR on with 3 mins left.'"
I think that's a tad unfair, you need to look after young players, if they're not ready, then they're not ready. Addy has had some decent games, just Saints wasn't one of 'em.

| Walker isn't the most talented player we have had in a Bulls shirt but I can't remember a game where I've watched him and thought he didn't give his all. We might well need a few Chev's next season if we drop out the top tier.

I agree with that
He's not, and never will be, a prop - and I'm sure he'd be the first to say that. But he's stuck his hand up and thrown himself into the role when we were short.
It's hardly his fault that, for a variety of well-chronicled reasons, we are criminally short of props

47035_1386433761.gif We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif |

| From a Saints point of view I thought FA was spot on.
For the opening 20 it was a bit of a slogg, but defenses were on top. There were good tactics from Bradford, with that wind behind them they could just kick us back to the 20 every set.
But once the line broke for Bradford that's when the game plan fell apart. I'm not sure had you held us in that first half, that you would have had enough to cope in the second with the wind at our backs, but it would have been closer. There was one point were the dummy half for Bradford almost scored. We seemed to fall asleep and I could not see, but assumed he landed short.
Second half the legs, the heart and the energy was gone from Bradford. There was not much they could do. But I don't think you can blame the players the coach or the owner. This all comes down to the previous owners. You can't sign players as they are all under contract. The players you have got could have walked at any point.
The points deduction whilst IMO something the game has to enforce, has made it a bridge too far. You are only one win behind Wakefield, so in terms of a normal season it would be a hum dinger of a relegation battle. But without recovering 2 points from the appeal, it just seems too far a stretch to win say 6 games between now and the end of the season.

Chev is never short of effort in my opinion.

I was watching, we scored 0. Not could have scored 10.
We scored nothing, zero, zilch, diddly squat. Out of 80 minutes you've picked one attempt from dummy half as a reason we could have scored 10 points?
Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "Well, he has. You must not have been watching the Warrington game.
'"
I was at that game. He did ok. Nothing more. I doubt NRL clubs watched that game and though "hmm that Gale is class,he could replace Cronk, Thurston" In fact I doubt Warrington (who have a half back issue) will be knocking on Mr Green's door to sign him.
Again one game. What about the other 12. Leeds, Wigan, Hull, Hull KR, Widnes?
I would have Gale ahead of Addy. But that doesn't make him "a class HB"

Potter isn't a class act when it comes to coaching? Seriously, has today totally blown your mind?

Quite, I've read some daft comments but that has to be right up there with the best of them.

Maybe he should be the defence coach then.
We certainly need one.
Whenever I see St Hilaire he does this then turns to the coaches box and does

And that exactly why I responded with the quote below earlier, as I have yet to meet anyone who can tell me what exactly his role is .... Other than Assistant Coach!
Whether he is or isn't is a moot point, but I guess both he and FC have to take some if not all responsibility for the points mentioned in lots of posts above.
It is a fine line between blaming the players or the coaching team for such an abject performance .... Maybe we need a root and branch review?
