| I have to say I agree with Bulls4Champs here on Herbert's lack of suitability for LF, Bateman is the obvious choice against Fax IMO.
Then we're not too far off Addy being back who should walk back into the side.

I agree he isn't the 13 we need but every time you read a post he's just slagging him off without ever coming up with a solution to our problem.
I would play Bateman, trouble with what we have done so far is given no one a run in the team if they have come in.
Herbert has been poor more so yesterday but what else can we do?

Probably because their strengths are worked into the game plan. I seem to remember Dave Halley scoring tries for fun when he was on loan at Wakefield - because they got the ball to him in space and he was able to run. Sadly the Bradford way is all hammer and no finesse.
I see those other young misfits Bridge and Atkins had a quiet afternoon yesterday.

Dont play him at LF or SH and play Briggs or Bateman instead.

Thats what i'd like to see also with Southernwood at 7.
Whatever Briggs has done, its time to draw a line and give him some game time

| There wasn't enough aggression in the forwards either. We're too nice to teams in the pack. We need an animal in there to rough some teams up. I can't remember the last time our forwards really mullered the opposition.

Sadler got it right a few seasons ago when he claimed the Bulls were soft. Hand on heart, Ive never seen a team so soft.

It's the losing mentality, we've got too used to it these past 3 and a bit seasons. The players seem too ready to accept defeat when things start to go against them. We're lacking some strong characters that can impose themselves on the game.

I'm afraid I have to agree.
The whole team lacks bottle (apart from Elima who has more than Oddbins).
Koppy is getting more aggressive, but still not enough for his size. I'd love to get Big Joe in some sort of coaching capacity to show them how its done.

Before the Wire game, Potter was reported in the T&A as aying thisyou want to see grit and determination. Adversity often brings out the best in people and that’s starting to come out now.
“Their will to do better and to improve with every match is second to none and I feel the crowd appreciate that. They want to see the players give their all.
“Everyone wants to win but the first key to winning things is to put in your best every week.”'"
It would be interesting to know if he thinks they all did.

That's an interesting point on a number of levels. Wakey are punching way above their weight, possibly down to Kear cultivating a seige mentality. I wouldn't have been surprised if Wakey had totally capitulated & been unable to complete their season, with the ground issue also seemingly going against them. Whether the players like Hyde (who I wouldn't know from Adam) are given far more responsibility, out of necessity, than they would be if they came in to the Bulls team I don't know. But they seem to be able to take a total hammering & bounce straight back. I would expect a good coach, & I have long thought Potter is one, to be able to get far more out of a team of reasonable players then he is getting with Bradford. After the Cas game the players were eupohric & didn't show any lack of spirit or unity. The was won, however, with repetitive runs from acting half, which Cas got sucked into & coudn't deal with. Perhaps other teams have quickly worked that one out, especially more so now a number of Bulls better players are out. I have never thought Lynch a captain, good player though he is. Diskin is the obvious choice IMO, the fact he does some of the half time talk supports this. Not that I have any problem with players doing this. When I was captain I struggled to talk for a minute never mind 15.

Perhaps Mick G's rumour of a dressing room bust up came after Potter gave his analysis!

| I've just watched Boots n All, and you were that bad, I honestly don't think Jesus Christ himself could solve your problems.
Changed days indeed.
