We've heard nothing from the club for a while and no-one has mentioned the 'Gazette' recently, does anyone know if the winding up order has been rescinded or is it still in force?

It would be good to have something from the club to clear this up

A wall of silence simply allows people to feel uncertain / start rumours / fear the worst / make up conspiracies (delete as appropriate)

Either way, it can't be doing a lot for season ticket sales

Why does it need to be in the hands of the legal team? Either we've paid what we owe or we haven't. All you have to do is ring 'em up and say "ow, you've had the cheque and you've cashed it and we can send you proof with a bank statement" FFS.

Unless we've paid it and the HMRC have mistakenly applied the credit to one of the defunct companies then slapped us with a default notice due to their error. I imagine the legal team would be pushing for more than a retraction of their error due to the damage done to our (slowly recovering) reputation....

That would be my thoughts as well.

What damages? Have you paid any damages to the businesses that lost out in the two years previous to last years.

Sorry you are obviously whiter than white. HMRC must have meant someone else in Bradford and just assumed it was you. Seriously though I thought it was part of the deal when the new lot took over. I know over at Salford Marwan had to take on some of the previous owners debts and they are now on their 3rd kit supplier in as many years as the last 2 took them to court.

Wow, all this time to worry about other clubs and no worries at home. It's great when you follow one of the big clubs isn't it? I know, it gets a bit samey when you're winning grand finals every other year doesn't it, but you really ought not to give in to temptation and try to take solice in another club's problems - or non-problems, whatever the case may be..
