I suspect it will be Platt and Crookes in the centre - and if Platt isn't fit, then Crookes and Whitehead.

seriously though, having watched u20s highlights now, crookes looks to have bulked up a bit. has decent pace and knows when to use his winger and when to go himself which is an improvement on last year. Still looks a bit suspect in defence but that can be said of most of 1st team squad TBF. Wouldnt mind him getting a run out and seeing how he goes.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be interested to see whether Whitehead can cut it - Joel Tomkins style - in the centres. I just think Potter will go for Crookes

Sibbit is nowhere near as bad as some make out.

Crookes is a centre.Play him at centre. If it doesn't work then hands up but give the lad chance. Sibbitt is 30 yr old 2nd row who should be in the championship. Bateman to start at LF at 17 in team getting beat up?
