But once we're out of Odsal we're out. Hoe would we sell bigger games in the future for the middle 8's etc
Moving to Horsfall is just short sighted.

Matt Orford should be.

The only two players left that could refer to would be Pryce and Chisholm, I would guess
It sounds like Chisholm is off anyway. Pryce will probably either take what's on offer or retire.

Hardly future proofing though is it?
To be fair, it might be alright for this season as I'd guess crowds are likely to be down, especially as any losing runs kick in. My objection is really that it sends out the wrong message and seems to give out an acceptance that we're not going to be any better.
Much as I confess to being pretty despondent about chances this year, I'd like to think management are looking slightly further down the line.

Chisholm has offers from two Super League clubs but nothing signed yet. The problem Chalmers has is crowds will be down to 2500 after all the discontent, losing run early doors and points deduction. He has to honour the 1000 season tickets already sold by Green and only gets£15,000 central funding. Players will have to be realistic as to what they would be paid at other Championship clubs otherwise the club will be calling the administrators again.

| Horsfall would be perfect for this coming with the low.crowds that are likely to turn up to watch a losing side. Only problem would be the visits of Halifax and Hull KR. It would also help to cut costs.

| Horsfall is not perfect for anything other than the local sports facility it is. I also don't think the rfl have any intention of letting new Bradford play anywhere but the rfl leased odsal, so it's irrelevant anyway.

Far from sure we can just take next season in isolation though.
Assuming that we come through next season still in the championship, or even if it's a season later, after a year in champ1, where do we play then, when crowds are [hopefully] on the rise and a promotion push [or even just a decent season] is on the horizon? Do we just stroll back into Odsal, with the council and RFL having held everything on ice? Will it still exist as a stadium? Maybe there will be a giant garbage compactor on the site?
Thing is we just don't know, and given the pressures on the council, I'm not sure we can just assume.

| Why has Horsetail never been developed. Could build a beauty stadium on that patch of land.

Would need a bit of 'brass' spending on it by all accounts.
Very much a mud bath and nothing in the way of corporate, or even general, spectator facilities, and that would cost us dearly.

Yes, that's what we need. The answer is, field a shoite perennially losing side, so you can play in a shamateur mudbath, as you are resigned to one man and his dog viewing, so that's OK.
That way, you'd probably only lose £1/2m a year or so assuming expenses were pared to a minimum. Tie-dye shirts maybe. I can see how after a year or two of that we would have rebuilt into a mighty force indeed.

I don't see how unless you move it back into the ground behind it and accept there'll never be any parking.

| We need a new, purpose built stadium. There's going to be a huge, empty plot of land on the other side of the road once Richard Dunns is gone. The money saved from getting rid of the sports centre, plus the money raised from selling the Odsal site must surely be enough to build our version of the LSV.
If the council really care that much about pro RL in Bradford then they need to do something about it, otherwise we will just be stuck in this perpetual loop of bullsh*t.

I've got it - you're Leon Pryce's dad. It all makes sense now.
