| Said earlier last week if Lowes has lost the dressing room then there's no way back.
Yesterday would confirm he has.
There is only one out come from here unfortunately

| The club won't have budgeted for the expense of dismissing Lowes and then finding a replacement.
If he resigns (I don't think he will) then there would still be the dilemma of who to replace him with at either the same salary or lower. Any coach currently contracted elsewhere (Morrison, Marshall) will be off the table because again, we won't have budgeted for paying any fees.

Mr Green will have to find the brass from somewhere, remortgage the gaff in Alwoodley or summat. It's the only way he has any chance of protecting his interest in Bradford because without promotion the decline will be terminal (and with Lowes as coach promotion is about as likely as Red Rum running in Saturday's National). It really is $h!t or bust, roulette wheel stuff.

You need to be very careful what you allege on here Mick/Peter. You can say what you like on your own Twitter but on here we have to be careful as the site has no money for any potential legal battles.

| I must say that I am massively surprised that I have not got up this morning to see that we are looking for a new gaffer.
We are an absolute mess.

If PH is actually Mick Gledhill then I would not be at all surprised. Gledhill is a gobe of the highest order.

The freehold to the Odsal site is still owned by Bradford Council and won't be sold to anyone without guarantees that protect the vested interests of the club.

| I confess I've scanned across this thread this morning rather than reading every single comment, largely because I think there'll be a lot of repeated things.
I think at the moment our fans are falling into 3 categories.
1) Bury head in sand. Everything will work itself out, just keep your fingers crossed.
2) Angry. Sick and tired of it, venting by shouting, screaming and swearing.
3) Depressed. Just struggling to even get the motivation to watch this useless rubbish any more.
I saw all 3 at the match yesterday, and I certainly fall into category 3. I couldn't even get myself annoyed yesterday, I just stood there shaking my head, sighing and occasionally laughing at just how bad we were.
It was Halifax all over again as far as the attack went. One dimensional, slow, no ideas whatsoever. Just that this week the defence decided to take a holiday too.
It summed up the way the team is at the moment when the ball was down the left and we were right in front of their line. Caro, Welham and another (forget who now) had loads of space in front of them, but were too busy trying to step around to actually go for the gap and potentially score. Everyone screams at them for not taking the chance, at which point Gaskell gets hold of it, kicks it across the other side of the field to the arms of Garry Lo who runs the length of the field. It was so bad it was comical. But what worried me most is I stood there watching it, not surprised in the slightest.
I don't think I've gone a season where I've missed more than 3 or 4 away games in near on 20 years. I think I've only missed one home game in the last 15 years. But even I'm struggling for the motivation to drag myself along to watch this tripe at the moment. If I'm struggling, I can't see how the walk up fans, the non-season ticket holders are feeling.
What I am amazed at is that somehow we're still 4th in the table with a game in hand on most teams. I'm not sure how considering how we're playing. The only thing that does give you hope for is that all is not lost if the correct changes are made. We're still in a position in the table to save it, but there'll be no saving if everything just carries on the way it is.
On a side note, who employed those linesmen yesterday? There were more forward passes than a standard NFL game (from both sides) and one of them managed to miss Gaskell kicking out on the full. I don't think Thaler was bad at all, but the touchies were shocking.

And that try cost me money. Not only did he get winning pay yesterday he got a pound off me as well and it was tax free

| I walked away from the ground yesterday with optimism, I felt sure that after such an inept display (even in the latter days of SL we never got such a stuffing) there would be action and changes made. This morning its a reality check JL accepts its his fault but will stay and put it right. Sorry Jimmy but the fans will not roll up whether Season Ticket Holders or pay on the day to watch such clueless dross served up by the team you coach. Its obvious you are obstinate or you would walk. For me he has lost the confidence of the players. Also noticed he went into the dressing rooms via the back door and never faced the fans.
I`ve followed this club since 1962 and am sorry to say if Mark Green does not take action we will be back to November 63

| I honestly think we started both the Halifax and Sheffield games well, that is the annoying thing. We looked to have a game plan and acted professionally and kept composed.
The problem seems to be that as soon as something goes wrong for us, eg. we concede a good try or don't get a referees call, our heads go down. Our confidence must be dreadfully low for this to happen.
I'm not sure whether it's because we've got a young squad but the first thing that goes when we start getting into this mentality is their discipline. They try and force an error by trying to dislodge the ball or darting out of the line. This isn't the way to win the arm-wrestle. Hard work and back-to-basics play is much more effective and less risky. A few experienced heads and proven winners would solve this.
We're used to seeing in the squads of old the ability to change the flow of a game whilst it's going on. We had the experienced heads and a strong bench to be able to do this. This is where we are lacking.
The other annoying thing is that the mental resolve and ability to turn a game was something that Jimmy Lowes as a player was bloody good at. We have the technical ability there is just a blatant issue with the mindset of our players at the moment. I always thought it would be hard to motivate us at the beginning of this season after coming so close last year. Turns out it's too much of a challenge for Jimmy to handle.

| When you read Jimmy's comments, although I'm sure many will feel like they're an excuse, I do believe there's a large amount of truth in them.
We can all see it. Numerous people have said it on this thread, and previous to yesterday's game too. As soon as one thing goes wrong, confidence disappears entirely and the whole team play like upset school children.
And in this case I agree with Jimmy. The buck largely stops with him on this. It's his job to motivate those players.

That about perfectly sums up where me and my lad are. Looking forward to attending Magic Weekend again - not feeling good about Summer Bash!
Can only add that I am at loss to understand why, in defence, we are waiting for the attacking player to arrive, therefore gifting them 10m minimum gain per tackle.
Line speed is preached at the lowest levels of the game yet there is no evidence of it in our team - and that beggars belief.

| The thing is there is still time to rescue this season if changes are made. The longer things are left as they are though the more chance we'll be heading for oblivion by September.
