Back in the day all games against West Yorkshire teams were considered 'derbies' and , I guess, lots of folk had their favourite bête noir amongst the opponents. Maybe, for Fax fans it was Bradford, Maybe for Hudds fans it was Fax but for Bradford, the main one was always Leeds.

Unlike some, I can't really say for my Dad - he was originally a Wakey fan anyway..

Interesting discussion this. I've been going to Odsal since mid sixties and only ever thought of Fax as main derby. Never Huddersfield or Leeds......The Leeds thing was a Sky invention. I would say that next in importance after Fax was probably Dewsbury. Nobody ever told me it had to be so and I've never questioned it. I presume it was passed on from somebody and I suspect the media had a part to play. I don't think we ever sat at the same table as Leeds.....They were rich.

not sure when uiasele's T&A columin is written in relation to 19 man squad being decided. But in todays T&A he reckons hes only on standby for tonights game in case Williams doesn't make it and ulugia is likely to be other wing. Seems like 19 man squad is taken a lot less seriously in championship if correct.
