I watched mason at Cas and although he's not perfect (doesn't run his weight and gives the odd penalty away) he will improve your squad and under the circumstances I don't think you can ask or expect much more.

It annoys me intensley when players with talent waste that ability. We don't have enough depth of talent in this country for that luxury. Newlove bordered on that on occasion. From what I hear Mason is hard as nails, he is big, strong & athletic. Yet I have never, ever see him have a stand out game. My entire recollection of his career his him standing on Stuart Fielden's ankle (IIRC) & the ensuing fracas. I have stated this for years & asked for examples of Mason's abilities. No-one to date has come up with anything other than he is an enforcer. He is an expensive, posing, journeyman with no interest in the club he represents. He never scores a try, he never assists, he never busts tackles, never offloads, makes poor meterage despite only playing in short spells. He will add nothing to Bradford, in fact he will be a draining cancer who will furhter your demise. Apart from that he is a cracking player.

He is so feckin lazy he needs a butler to help him around the pitch. Jeeves runs it in with more purpose.
