I think we have averaged over 12k fans this season anyway, and no doubt if he wasnt the administrator he would we would have got over 10 anyway, think alot fans used tickets as we have given enough to the club, by pledging and donation ino i have, and the £20 we pay to get in more likely went to pay his fees.'"
His firm will get their money as a matter of course. If no-one else is paid his company will be, you can rest assured of that, so denying the club the cash is probably a bit self defeating. Though, maybe it's a fair tactic to keep your powder dry, as it were. Guess that time will tell..

If so, it's another example of the God of Round Numbers. Isn't it amazing how the number of payers was exactly a round thousand number? It's like when the government needs to waste cash on something it always comes to a round million, or billion.

Or even £500,000?

| Well maybe it is good news in that I assum to be granted a further extension BG would have to provide some evidence that there is a potentially viable option on the table?
BG also said he was expecting to take £10k on the gate - even if only 2000 paid he should have got more than this - or were they all £1 childrens entries?

| I'm sure it is good news. I'm positive, I just want some conclusion now one way or the other. I've been waiting since the end of March for some.
2000 is almost a quarter of the season ticket holders. I'd personally be surprised if that many paid through. I did, but then I have no season ticket this year.

I'll take two or three days of extension over liquidation!

You don't get soap operas, do you? The standard technique to get people to tune in to the next episode is to leave something hanging in mid

| Lifelong Archers fan club member. Nigel didn't hang in mid-air. He slammed head first into the ground.

| I think you'll get til Friday.
Its been a decent earner so far for his firm P&A.
There's no way they`ll be paying the wages and that's when its reported they are due. The deadline is his to extend.
I`m very surprised some players havent been sold on yet even just to bring the wage bill down.

| All sounding promising regarding possible investors, however, I can't see any of them wanting to fork out for this months players wages.
What will be BG's options? May have to be a player(s) sale to raise the funds unless the investors happen to be passionate Bulls fans and want to keep the team together. Sounds doubtful though.

we're due the next installment of sky money in next week which covers a big chunk of the wages. Plus I think RFL are minded to advance us next months installment as well which is why figure being bandied about is 200k rather than 100k.
