| Quote: mat "Be interested in Frank w and Paula comments on latest development as they were pretty certain last week that a financial solution was imminent. Hopefully as others have said this is just to give us breathing space whilst details are finalised.'"
It could well be that a financial solution was imminent but that the benefactor was put off (possibly temporarily) by the HMRC proceedings. No point him/her throwing their money away, as the fans may have done.

| I get the impression it's purely delay tactics. However, this obviously conflicts with what I was given last week, so I'm no longer sure myself unless something happened pretty quickly.
If another piece of information is correct, we might not be the only club to be filing for administration in the next week or two.

| I hope all those who complained about lack of information or half truths about hood understand all boards are like that but our newly formed board is clearly motivated only by caisleys ego and any coulby about avoiding admin were only delay tactics and he is just a piece in caisleys well thought out chess manouvre

| OK then I believe Wakey used the same tactic last year when we were courted by Glover and Parkin, at the death it was going to be Parkin but he allegedly pulled out, Glover then purchased the club from the Administrators.
This is no different to where you are unless you pay the immediate debts, in reality what investor is going to chuck dosh at HMRC when the club can be wound up and bought for a song in administration there appears to be a lot of smoke and mirrors on in the communication strategy of the Bulls no smoke and no mirrors. Prepare for the inevitable and rise from the ashes. The few days in admin whilst investors crawl all over the business will be the critical time around predetors and fire sales etc to pay for the admin charges.
I am no financial expert and I am sure that someone will shoot down what i have said but in laymans terms thats how I saw it at wakey and I see no difference here.

| Well Well Well, how can HMRC put a winding up order on a club that doesn't owe them anything
A couple of prominent posters clearly stated that there were no outstanding monies to HMRC and that a payment plan was being honoured, me thinks the board are not the only ones that have been lying to the Bulls Fans
Personally I hope it all works out for the bulls and that the club comes out of this in the same way Wakefield have and become stronger and more business savvy, but I think a number of people need to wake up and smell the coffee

Is anyone honestly surprised by this state of affairs?
I wouldn't be surprised to see Caisley buy back the club for £1 just like Bates did over at Leeds Utd

| Quote: mat "Adey what happens at the end of 14 days if we don't appoint administrators? Do we officially withdraw the application of intent ?'"
It's ten working days.
The moratorium period is usually employed to put together or finalise a prepack, although that is not a given, especially where a floating charge holder takes over the proceedings or there is a last minute white knight.
If the club had agreed instalments payments on the image rights tax and the lease sale VAT, then either they must have failed to comply with the instalment payment terms or not paid other taxes due, one presumes the 19 May PAYE since Hood stated by implication the 30 April VAT had been paid?
Not 100% sure what happens if the moratorium period expires without administrators being appointed as can't recall seeing such an event happen. However, as I understand it the moratorium lapses and administrators cannot be appointed down that "out of Court" route. A further notice can be filed to extend the moratorium, and I recall seeing a case on that a couple of years ago. I presume the High Court will not go along with anything that would amount to abuse of the process though.

| What do we actually owe, not the amount but what is it?
I thought Ducket set the tax had been sorted out?
Any ideas?

| Guess HMRC have seen the lack of any clear details from BOD mark 2 and decided there is no certainty of the payment plan being adhered to and gone for the jugular pretty much ensuring they ( and all us Bulls fans and taxpayers) will get nothing.
We think the club is badly managed HMRC could show us a lot about that?
If this is not part of the devious plan several posters suspect then you wonder why a further appeal has not been made to the fans?

Hmm interesting timing so basically gets us through to Monday/ Tuesday after next home game. Could tie in with what someone posted earlier about an announcement at game.
Other thing I'm wondering is if the meeting with players/staff had a bit mote to it than suggested by certain posters, this being reflected in non performance against Sts?. Also if a decision to go admin route had been made, effectively ruling us out of this yrs playoffs, then clubs willingness to allow Bateman on oz tour is seen in a new light.
It seems to me a couple of pro admin/ caisley posters are conspicuous by there lack off comments on situation although I may be being unfair and they simply aren't aware of today's development. Forum seems quiet in general thus week tbh.

I wondered that. I'm amazed that the decision to let Bateman just clear off to Australia right in the crucial part of the season hasn't drawn more ire. If we're going to get docked 6 points, then it hardly seems to matter as we'd have zero chance of reaching the playoffs anyway.
On the substantive point, it seems we now have a 'put up or shut up' scenario. If any these 'investors' or 'benefactors' or whatever the hell they are are genuine and serious, then they now need to get their cheque books out in the next two weeks.
I wonder what the realistic chances of that happening actually are?

The thing with admin is that it is no longer in Caisley's hands. If they go into admin the creditors take control and they could easily liquidate rather than take a cheap offer. Suddenly all players are for sale and it's the creditors interests not the clubs interest that are key.
