I mentioned on the Salford forum, how good your rush defence was in the first 20mins or so. The problem is the level of intensity seemed to be unsustainable, and what looked like an out muscled Salford pack in those first 20mins, then looked like Supermen. Even Feka started to pump his legs.

This is one of the factors that lost you the game, along with a heavy penalty count and poor sliding defence/general tackling, something Salford fans are normally used to whitnessing from their own team.

You guys need to get a grip,you win some lose some,salford did us over at the willows after we played poor and tbh reading inbetween the lines you was beaten by a better team.Im sure you will have some great wins this year but sometimes you will play cr@p and suffer.Today was just a bad day at the office and tomorrows another day folks...

Five years of poor player recruitment have taken us to the point where at today. Average signings been asked to produce better than average results. We are poor and no better than last year only this time we have a few more average players than we had last year !

When I was watching the game I was embarrased but after I had 'calmed down' I actually thought about it. Potter has given out 1 year deals, which obviously means he's trying to find players which suit his style of play so this season is more of a 'testing' season to see which ones he's gunna keep or get rid of. This will hopefully bring us consistancy in a few seasons time.

Another thing is that I'm getting sick of this flat ball all the time. Give it to trhe back man so he can distribute it to Centres/Wingers.

Briggs had a poor game but I believe he will get better, this was his first game with a proper 7 in Marc Herbert (who is also improving a lot). L'Estrange was pretty poor too in my opinion. Kicking game needs sorting, 20 points behind with 20 mins left and we drill it into touch??

If I was the coach I would get the lads together and knock them down to earth, shouting about how there are etc. Then when they are at their lowest, build them back up again with a different mindset.

You cant do that. Players respond better to peace and love and a nice little chat over a cup of tea. Shouting and balling and criticisng poor play and performances never works. Ever

I am not having a go here just asking a question. Have you played rugby before? I have been on the end of some hidings. A nice chat to each INDIVIDUAL at the start of the game yes that works. However when it comes to being hammered and playing crap thats when bollockings work, it does for my team and we usually start performing then. Saying that though my team consists of 16 year olds who arn't getting paid and who actually have pride and passion for the shirt they are wearing and also the passion for the game.

where was royston and the great ian sibbit for you lot today? although we did rip you to shreds,you did help us along the way with some comical ball handling skills,fair play to your support who came over for your last visit to the willows too!

As a neutral, may I say that the game was saved as a spectacle by Salford.
Bradford were truly awful.

I cant believe these guys have played rugby all their lives and actually get paid for it.
They play with no passion or desire and have done for too long.
Potter IMO appeared to take the loss too easily and for me that hurts.
Gone are the good times and I for one am finding it extremely difficult to accept the Bradford I see today.
When was the last time we thrashed somebody?

I really hope both teams provide something to watch for a change next week.......here's hoping.
