thats one off reasons why I think whoever in shop said about october made a mistake. late november/early december is more usual for 1st shirt. They do want to get at least one of them released in time for xmas though as they should sell a significant amount more than usual this year due to people returning who havent been for a few years and new supporters attracted by the pledge deal.

I made a post about this some time back, unfortunately jct didnt find the sponsorship worth it anymore with us slipping to 2 years without play-offs , but like previously said above they are still sponsoring us just on a much smaller scale

If the new sponsor is who I was told it is then do you think they'll do a deal with the supporters to offer us their products cheap??????

| It's all fair and well suggesting Kooga "know the market" and what is likely to sell, but it's very clear that they don't in our clubs instance.
Stock has forever been an issue, or therein lack of. So said knowledge means jack if there are simply non on the hangers to purchase. Similarly, lets be clear, the design this year was e.
Kooga need to stop blowing sugar up their own arris, design a kit the fans want and would buy and ensure it is available in stock. Never mind all this boll0x about awaiting supply from the far east. Not interested in third party agreements, just the one you signed to.

Whilst I agree to an extent, when you consider the fact that stock is an issue because the club keep selling out of the shirts, it rather contradicts your point that Kooga don't know what sells.
The club has to strike a balance between a minimum order and how many they think they'll sell. Can anyone in the know on here clarify that when the club ran out of home/away shirts this year, they had to order the minimum amount in again which they were weary to do as they wouldn't think they'd sell out again. I would presume that the buck stops with the club in this sense when estimating how many shirts they would sell over the course of the season. I'd suspect this year the demand will be the highest for a few seasons - especially if the design isn't half bad

If Kooga have a good comprehension of what they do, they will know the numbers that will sell given an average crowd base. Evidently they don't.
Is their turnaround time that poor that they can't react to an increase in supply, unexpected or otherwise?
The feedback on this forum alone suggests a more popular design would sell than their previous attempts.
Perhaps the club should utilise their assets more and a little grey matter. Once new stock is in, cheap or free names and numbers on shirts along with the whole first team squad on hand to sign said new shirts. Similarly on a match day, non selected/injured players on hand in the shop to sign shirts (upon gates opening for a 1 hour period thus fans arriving earlier and increasing tertiary spend), chat to fans in shop blah blah blah. Not rocket science is it or difficult to organise.

You miss the point - barring the minimum order I'd imagine Kooga don't force the Bulls to order a specific amount of shirts - surely it's for the club to decide how many they'll sell because it's the club that has to stock them not Kooga?

Not as simplistic as that. Turn around time is a large part of it on re orders.
Moreover, a sellable kit would alleviate the speed bumps on the initial first up order and a larger buy in. The timescales on subsequent stock replenishment may still remain a problem as it has been this year. Difficult to place a minimum order when the numbers on a not particularly attractive kit aren't there however as was the case this term.
