Just to wade into the Sheriffe discussion the lad simply hasn't got it, not his fault, but his defence is awful and whilst the kick he bombed was tricky he didn't use his head - As for Worrincy I just wish such a big unit would impose himself the term 'paper tiger' springs to mind.
Lastly, I'm going to dare to criticise Langley - As magnificent as his go forward and defence has been and it has, whenever he receives the ball the play stops, he never passes!! Often he has men outside with numbers over yet the play dies with him, and as a loose forward he should be aware of what goes on around him and look to open up play or keep a good move going, he needs to take the blinkers off.'"
Sheriffe's defence has been solid this season, much improved imo.
Langley may only drive, but he has made a few breaks this season, and without his drives we wouldn't have been in a good enough position to get alot of our tries. Leave him to what he's good at, and when we want to play expansive go through Orford/Sykes/Menzies/Kearney.

Read what it says, Platt can be iffy! He has been better back end of last year and the few games he's played this year. I think his best position is at Full back but he can also be "iffy" there. And yes I have been to a game this season, every game for the last 16 years in fact so I've seen the good and the bad of us in Superleague.

Good job then that Worrincy was making the try-saving tackle that saved the match on Sunday then, rather than taking on the oranges...?

one tackle that he happened to fall in the right place at the right time doesn't make up for every missed takle for the whole game not to mention the whole time he has been at bradford, worrincy is still a crap player.

Which missed tackles were those on Sunday? I don't recall seeing many of those this time at least? This isn't the Wire game we are talking about.
I think you'll need to post something a bit less subjective to gain credibility Mr Newbie.

the fact that i am as you so cleverly point out new to THIS forum means what? i have to be in your little click to be to have an opinion that you think is credible. worrincy is a clown and he falls around the pitch like one. and i do know alot of other bulls fans that would agree and some like yourself who don't but that is my opinion and it is no less credible than yours it's just different.
ps thanks for the welcome and when i have over 3000 posts on here i hope i don't forget welcom NEWBIE fans by tell them thier opinion is tripe.

Welcome to the forum.
Worrincy's missed tackle count for yesterday was 0. Any suggestion that me pointing out this statistic amounts to wondering if you are a trolling numpty would be presumptuous.

| Don't presume to tell me what I do or do not think, sunshine.
My response was to your comments about his performance on Sunday - which by general consent on here was deemed to be sort of "OK". It was not about earlier performances, where I entirely concurred with the generality of opinion on here - poor, bordering on disastrous.
And I did not say anyone's opinion was "tripe".
By all means express an opinion - everybody's right. But when I asked you to tell us a bit more to help us understand your opinion (given in fairness that it was very much at variance with what people on here, and myself, say they saw on Sunday) you chose not to. Instead you just launched an attack on me and accused me of calling your opinions "tripe". I suggest that does sort of make it harder for people to give your opinion the degree of credibility you clearly believe it deserves?

Can't agree about Platt, but that's just my opinion. When we first signed him he was a decent fullback. Unfortunatly under our Coaching he seemed to get worse. Doesn't help when your suporting players don't support (Centres and Wingers) confidence takes a knock. The problem for Platt is we seem to have an abundance of Fullbacks or players who can play fullback (Kearney, Halley, Sykes, Reardon and Platt himself) Quality Centres and Wingers we don't have. Platt may well come good in the Centres as his confidence and fitness improve. The whole back line need instucting that when they receive the ball carry in both hands, look to the opposition sticks and run that way. Don't stop, don't think, just run! Stuart Spruce seemed to manage it most weeks. He never tried to fool anybody with fancy running, he just left the opposition with one choice, do I tackle him or not and run at them full tilt.

Apart from my view that Platt's problems arose not as a result of coaching, but due to some prominent howlers from which he's still probably psychologically recovering, I'd say that was all pretty accurate. Kearney doesn't need any telling though, and both Platt and Halley, if they have a place at all, it won't now be f/b but wing and centre respectively. I like Halley on the wing though wish he would "go for it" more, and I think Platt is one of our best centre choices.

Totally agree, he's been as good as anybody in the centres for us, but I don't think my nerves could stand him being back at full back.
