I think he offers an invaluable service providing these links. If the mods feel they are duplication then they can merge and delete as they see fit but I thnik he has every right to post these links and we should not criticise.
Also it seems to cheese people off who really should chill out a bit so it's quite funny as well.

Except when someone (or more than one...) has already posted the link, and (as is quite often the case) a thread is already running. Then it is not a service; its just a duplication pain. |

I wasn't aware of that Foes thing. I have added him. It's good, but not great. Unfortunately for those particular irritants who start a new thread every time they want to post a link, it's not quite as useful. Still, better than nowt though and thank you for alerting me to that feature! |

It isn't the posting of the link. It is that we could get a bot to post links. If I wanted a news bot or a feed, I could get one.
The mods do a decent job in moving the links to BSC's personal links page (which of course pops up to the top whenever BSC would post a new link so his fans wouldn't miss a single thing). What's irritating is that the lazy bugger won't use his own damn page even though he knows it's been awarded to him, as a personal indulgence, for the specific purpose of commentless links.
