This guy is a Muppet of the highest order, he has taken a top flight team and turn them into the sorry opposition they you see before you today. Even when you’ve stuffed up a running lead he comes up with this garbage.
You really need to get rid.
The reason I say this is, as much as we may have our differences, bottom 3 is no place for a West Yorkshire team (except for Castleford of course)

I find myself agreeing with you for a change LS16 Rhino. He is the biggest muppet in West Yorks at the moment. And thanks for your last comment I'm touched

I wouldn't be surprised (or too disappointed as I put on another thread) at anything at the mo to be honest. And your call is as good as anything else I've heard. But my feeling is that McNamara will be with us for 2010 unless we have a cataclismic end to the season, like not winning again.
I feel the board took the decision earlier this season to see out this "rough patch" and back their man. Perservely each loss might just make them more stubborn to be proved right with McNamara.

If we don't make the play-offs, which looks very likely, then Macca should walk himself. We are getting worse each year, next year we'll probably be contending for the wooden spoon if Macca's still in charge.

You tell me where the next wins coming from? I can't see one now.

Celtic away, Salford home and possibly one of the Quins fixtures. We've thought that before, and then been so erratic to beat Wolves, Saints and Leeds.

You and I might as suffering supporters, but if your mortgage and kids food was being paid by your contract which runs for another 18 months would you give up that money to volunteer for the job queue? Or would you wait to be paid up at least the money owed you?

Precisely. He's not going to walk, and nobody in his position would do. Whether it's "the right thing" for the club, the players, the fans etc. is entirely irrelevant. It would be the wrong thing for him, and at the end of the day, you look after Number 1 first and foremost.

I would then talk to Mr.hood about a settlement as "I no longer feel I am capable to run this club".

I know. I think we'll win 3 of our remaining 8, but I have no idea which and no proof for that guess other than blind faith. If I had to pick 3 I'd say Celtic, Salford, Hull. But its pin the tail on the donkey stuff.

At best then three more wins. But in reality one or two. So finishing what? 2nd bottom?
What has happened to this team?

Unless you have total confidence in your own ability & are confident you will soon be in work again you aren't going to walk. Unless Hull still want him.

Not convinced that would happen in the real world. The only thing I could see is McNamara agreeing to return to the assistants role with special duties for bringing through juniors, with a new coach brought in. But that would be at the boards insitance and would not come from McNamara.
