I am, you woodentop, and also trying to show these in the context of a long line of classy, in many cases illustrious, signings, to make the point that no-one should be surprised if Bradford sign a top player, as we have a long and distinguished record of doing so.
In my earlier post i stated that as far as i know, Newton, Morrison and Menzies are current players and are the most recent signings, and I also mentioned Hall, who is for next year but signed now.
I can't believe that I had to explain that, but comprehension isn't apparently your strong suit. Why do you have to try to be y and clever all the time? How many more top players - real top players - like Morrison, Menzies and Hall - would we have to sign for you to accept that we continue to be in the market for the top players? Do you really think we're not?

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

FA in resorting to insults shocker.
FWIW, Menzies, I accept, but if you are trying to say that Morrison and Hall are REAL TOP players, then it is no wonder I find it hard to take you seriously.
You [iare[/i on the wind up I assume?

Oh grow up FFS
Quote: mystic eddie "FWIW, Menzies, I accept, but if you are trying to say that Morrison and Hall are REAL TOP players, then it is no wonder I find it hard to take you seriously.
'"
I couldn't give a flying fart if you "take me seriously"!
But usually you backtrack and sidetrack to crawl away from embarrassment, and claim you were talking about something else altogether, so let's start by making it clear what we were discussing. I said
Eurob0re asked who these top class signings were, and you echoed by asking
So I did. As I had made the point that I expected a club of our standing to "keep going" for top class signings, this (to the terminally uncomprehending) presupposes that we have a record of doing so, and based on that record I expect us to continue doing so.
That clear enough so far?
Presented with the evidence, you try to squirm out of your embarrassment by simply making some crack about "history books" - ignoring that 3 of those on the list are current players.
You then say you
Quote: mystic eddie "... assumed that you were dealing with the present and most recent signings.'"
But this is just disingenuous crap, as first it implies I am [inot[/i dealing with present and most recent signings - when I had in fact LISTED the present and most recent signings, as well as a long list going back to the 50s.
This alleged "assumption" of yours would not be so bad, if my list lost something by being restricted to "present and most recent signings" - but (apart from the fact that it would be out of context with my original post) it would not lose any such thing. Depending on how far back you want to add by way of "most recent" to "present", the list could, for example, be truncated tomystic eddie [iwants[/i to write

I agree, I thought he was talking about the top class signings like Micheal Platt, Ricki SHerrife, Paul Sykes, Chris Nero, Semi Tadulala, Ben Jeffries, Wayne Goodwin and Micheal Worrincy. You know, them top class signings

[iMy[/i newly introduced phrase?
Strangely........
Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "Ferocious Aardvark earlier wrote How many more top players - real top players - like Morrison, Menzies and Hall '"
)...what is your definition of a "REAL TOP CLASS" signing?
How many real top class players are there actually in the world?
So Menzies is a real top class signing?
So would one real top class signing a season be a realistic expectation for any club who is legally constrained by the salary cap?
What is better - one real top class signing and a few average players
or
several extremely good but maybe not "World class" signings?

Counter to that, due to the paucity of RL coverage in the media, this is the one place where you can read informed and sustained discussion of the Bulls (in and amongst ). And both FA and ME contribute to that, even though there is some repitition on occasions.

The way it comes across to me is both of them are more interested finding out 'who's dads harder than the other' or 'who's got the biggest willy'. One has a dig, then the other and vice versa, everyday it seems. They are like my two infant children at times.
