| Quote: Shaggoth "Did anyone notice what a monster Feather has turned into? I had to ask some lads in the pub after the game who he was. They showed me the programme and he's put on a shed load of timber and ran it in hard every time. Good luck to the bloke - I hope his string of freakish injuries are behind him.
'"
I'm not surprised he is doing well, he had some good games for the Bulls. The key for Cas is whether they can keep him off the treatment table, hope they can because he deserves some luck.

I'd been wondering the same...

| Quote: Ewwenorfolk "Dissappointed, hard not to be. We outplayed Cas for about 60-70 minutes of the game, then we totally blew it and Cas put in 10 minutes of world class performance. Platt had a really good game, looked solid in defence and under the high ball, good in attack aswell. Deacon was bad again, he shouldn't be starting next week. Jeffries looked ok again, but made quite a few errors. TBH I thought our centres looked quite good for a change, I think Sykes plays better when he is given the kicking responsibility. Think Halley should start instead of Sheriffe next week. Thought Langers was pretty poor aswell, but good from most of the pack especially Lynch, Burgess, Scruton and Morro. Newton looked good aswell.'"
Did you actually go today mate? Langely was in everything. A few daft missed shoulder charges, but other than those he was good.

As a Bull I totally agree, it was a hospital pass, the person that shold be getting the blame is the boy who passed it to Deacon.

The people that do go will realise that we are definatley NOT improving. We are getting worse as weeks go by.

No. It's actually not. If RL were all about results, I'd have stopped watching it decades ago. In the case of rugby league, you couldn't be more wrong. You'd be happy to watch a team win 20 on the trot 2-0?
Quote: redeverready "ours aren't good enough.'"
Wow, controversial, or what? What, are there people somewhere who would say our results "are" good enough?
Where do you get these gems from?

| I kind of disagree with the 'performance' argument and I very much disagree with the Barrie McDermottism of rugby league being a performance based sport. Whilst it is important to perform well on a consistent basis, in my opinion it is a whole lot more important to get the correct result. For myself, results matter far more than performances

| I feel sorry for the fans having to watch this lot every week. The only person that I don't feel sorry for is someone I know who has actually been quite awful to me just because I follow Leeds. - get a life would you? McNamara has to go now that is final. It appears that the team just don't have any spirit left in them now. A new coach whoever that would be needs to restore some spirit, pride in the club etc. Those heady days of SL champs seem a distant memory now. Getting rid of him now gives you a chance to turn the season around- wait and it will prolong the agony.

| Quote: bigchris "What a waste, still can't believe we just lost that game.
We played well for 65 - 70 mins and then all the good work was undone.
The referee was a disgrace and a couple of stupid decisions including him not seeing Morrison being tackled without the ball completely handed castleford the momentum. They took their tries well but we looked the better side on the day and it should have been two points.'"
That was a big call that, that handed Cas posession in our half and they ultimately scored from it. Instead of a penalty to us, its six points to them. Shocker.

| Quote: Northern Lad "I agree I thought Platt was excellent today.
TBH i thought it was close all game playing wise, they targeted our left side at the end and didn't it work a treat for them. I was level with the line as the bulls attacked our end in the 2nd half and Halley was never put a foot on or outside the line when the linesman flagged...however
I think Cas played faster ball then we did and wanted to keep the pace up going, I felt we were rightly penalised on a couple of occasions for holding down trying to slow it down. I was surprised Deac's came back on and i guess the 2 point conversion misses cost us, I thought the last one was an easy one by his normal high standards.
If we'd have won that I'd have gone away happy as i thought Cas really did have a good game but losing from that position...to see it all fall apart in front of your eyes is horrendous.'"
He wasn't in touch. But was tackled anyway so ultimately it didn't matter.

You are talking complete utter and complete bollox.
There was huge pride and spirit on show yesterday.
What was missing was some composure near the end.
That has sod all to do with the coach and everything to do with the players on the park.

31918.jpg I rode over the mountains to Huddersfield. A wilder people I never saw in England. The men, women and children filled the streets and seemed just ready to devour us. John Wesley June 1757:31918.jpg |

I agree with you Adeybull ... although unfortunately while I disagree with the points over performance argument from a personal point of view ... the coach's job security IS surely related to results and the Bulls performances may be OK but ultimately not getting the right result (week in week out!) has to have consequences
