I too would have thought[i the actual selling off[/i of the remaining assets was the liquidation, rather than the announcement that it was to happen, which chimes in with that.

My understanding pre-liquidation was that most bids revolved around having the option to buy back the lease completely - is there any reason to suggest this would now not be a requirement of the bidders?

Well, at Odsal, the new club is very unlikely to have the turnover to do even basic maintenance if we're still paying 70k per annum for the ground. In fact, I can't imagine how they'll find the cash to pay the rent. Still, we're used to admin every two years, aren't we?

I feel it's right for you to know, it is your club. What I understand with this news is that the RFL deadline is Monday but a new owner could be in place this weekend. That seems like the administrator has had this bid lined up all along to come in during the period where the club is in legal limbo until the liquidation papers have sent off and officially signed.

If I can find out anymore details I'll let you know.

Blaming the rent you paid why not blame the person who signed 30+ full time players when they was cr@p went and signed more.

Nothing to do with the lease why not have a part time club with that amount of players or a full time club with less players.
