Although I will wait for the squad to be finalized, you cant help but think that we are not in a position to spend the full cap anymore.

I imagine that all of our signings will be announced the same day that Sam leaves.

Like i said i'd be happy if we replaced him with Moi Moi then put in a bid for Danny Brough with the money from the sale. We then get an impact prop and a quality halfback.

My expectation is that much like last year I will be very dissapointed with the recruiting in the light of what we are losing. I fully expect the Club to roll out the usual "The exciting new recruits have strengthened the squad".
How poor have we become that we can't even hold onto the few good prosects we bring through?
If Burdess goes I can't think of anybody we could bring in to soften the blow. And at this late point most of the best players will have already signed up for other clubs. Looks like we'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel again.....Roll on 2011 and a new Coach!.......

Not long ago Hood promised quality signings, if we dont bring in quality then the crowds will be down to 7000.

I pray the Bulls have made some quality signings in the right area's this time around if they've agreed to sell Sam. Otherwise like Dilligaf, I fear for where our club is heading..

The popular side could be a very empty terrace next year if the Bulls cannot convince the fans that things will be much better next year. Losing our star player isn't going to make that job an easy one.

As Burgess is off, I guess this is why they have not announced any signings yet. Burgess leaving late in the day means that we may be able/have to change who we are looking at. We may now have to sign another forward, and maybe paying transfer fees for other players. I imagine there will be announcments following Burgess' departure.
