Also rumours doing the rounds of SL clubs interested in some of our players notably Fulton. Mick reckons it depends on what he's offered. Aaron Bower reports that we're not letting anyone go that we want to keep.

I think we are going to struggle keeping hold of Fulton. Losing one of our better players to a SL team is always tough, but it’s a reality we have to face given our position. When you’re a lower league team, it’s almost inevitable that talented players will attract attention from bigger clubs.

While it’s disappointing, it’s also a testament to the quality we’ve developed here. I’d love to keep him but if he does leave I’ll wish him the best, and we’ll keep pushing forward, knowing that there are always new talents waiting for their chance to step up e.g. Bateman.

Whilst still playing well I don't think Fulton is quite showing his early season form. Could this be because he knows he is leaving.

Still think he's one of our best performers. Think he's also played every minute of the league season. Don't think it would do any harm to give him a breather this week.

He's not quite found the gaps in recent weeks so maybe a week off would do him good. Not sure who we have that can cover for him though.

See Trueman is moving on to Wakefield. Once a star of our academy, not quite cemented himself into Castleford or Hull's teams, due to injury mainly. Hopefully a fresh start will be good for him.

I wonder if that will push Lawford down the pecking order.
