| Quote: vbfg "In a seven game competition today's point's difference was nothing short of a disaster. A repeat performance against HKR leaves us needing a win at Leigh to even make 5th. Lose to Leigh and we need 70+ PD against Halifax to get there.'"
It also depends on how Leigh's points difference ends up. They still have to travel away to Widnes, although with it being the last fixture of the seven, Widnes may already be safe and might give a few guys an early holiday.
Either way I think 5th is the best we can hope for now. So it's looking like an away trip to a SL side, an almost impossible task.

I hope we beat Leigh mate. But if safe i think a few u19s may play for experience.

| Looking at remaining fixtures I doubt any of Widnes, Salford or Wakey will be safe in 3rd , although none will face automatic relegation. I can't see any being prepared to just accept 4th and the inherent dangers that brings. It should be interesting on that final weekend as it goes to the wire.

A tough game for Leigh the week before we head across there would be ideal. Dare I say a few punch ups and suspensions wouldn't go amiss either?
Just bumping my post from a few weeks ago in light of today's result.
Called it!

| What bigger incentive do the players need now?!
Win next week and we confirm a place in the final game and ensure that Leigh stay in the Championship.

Assuming Fax don't turn over Wakefield too!

Exactly if this doesn't get them fired up and wanting to win noting will, if we beat Leigh and if fax get any result against wakey and then if we beat fax we will get 4th, this is what it comes down to any other result shows we don't have any fire anymore and we need to rebuild our team and management.

As long as we beat Leigh, that's an even better result as it'd put us in the driving seat for 4th and home advantage for the million pound game.
That's assuming El Generalisimo doesn't cock it up with his poor tactics and poorer team selections

Correct more twists and turns left.
But we have the points on the board which puts us in the driving seat.
The points difference doesn't do us any favours. However, both our matches are against championship opposition around us. Leigh and fax have to play superleague sides as well as us.

It could be fax in the million pound match instead of us or leigh. That would be a turn up for the books.
Leigh are certainly in the worst position now given their run in.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| The triangle that we formed with Wakey & Salford is interesting. As long as Widnes & HKR win their remaining games, and we, like Wakey & Salford can beat Leigh, then 3rd, 4th and 5th places should be filled by the 3 of us on equal points, the places being determined by points difference. I think.

| Another upset on the cards perhaps? Again involving Salford, this time against the part-timers of Sheffield

| Sheffield are clearly fighting to avoid being the bottom team and it looks like Salford have gone back to their "we just need to show up to win" attitude that they showed off at Odsal
