MacNamara was definitely involved.
I also enjoyed his penalty kick to touch at the Boulevard

That was funny, but i suspect not so much if you were on the reciving end, he hit it like missile - flat and fast, definatly not your average kick to touch. But to be fair that threepenny stand had been giving him dogs abuse all afternoon.

| That Warrington incident with the TV camera was Jon Scales and Steve MacNamara tackling Mark Forster. I remember that Andy Gregory (or lickle Gregory in Ray French speak) walked down the touchline straight after without batting an eyelid.
The previous bit of play could well have involved Calland and Bradley and got Bradford's defence fired up.
The match at the Boulevard with that touch finder was in a bit of a bad tempered atmosphere. It started when Bulls supporters did a weak rendition of the "We Will Rock You" clapping that used to happen at games. Threepenny Standers set the tone with an easy to guess reply asking what that was (to the tune of "You're not fit to referee"icon_wink.gif

| I did enjoy the playoff game at Saints when Shonny got the winning try on the left side. Fans went berserk knowing we were on our way to Old Trafford again. Happy days

| 3 more Bulls Wire memories
2000 Odsal, tony Hadley per match and stuffed 50 points past them with Alfie Langer, Andrew Gee and Tawera Nikau.
Wilderspool not sure of year, drawing in last minute, Deacon goes for 40 20, Wire winger dives to stop it going in touch but pats ball into in goal area and Scott Naylor jogs up and touches down in front of Bulls supporters!
HJ not sure of year, Deacon & Briers exchange drops for last 5 mins, we get last one to win by 1, great memories

7749_1266928910.jpg Now The Wire.
[quote="Rogues Gallery":xjc47q2r]Wire - the enigma. They could finish top or eighth, who knows.[/quote:xjc47q2r]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7749.jpg |

| Some great Wire Bulls memories there. I think the winger in question was Dean Gaskell shame as it was a valiant effort.

| As a Saints fan I'm actually quite sad you're going down purely for sentimental reasons of the great rivalry we had in late 90's / early 2000's.
We had some sensational matches both winning and losing and there was a serious dislike of each other at one point due to the intense rivalry we had.
Whilst we did get the better of you in finals, some of those matches were incredible especally the 1999 & 2002 Grand Finals which could've gone either way.
I also remember some of our narrow losses especially in play off games - 2002 and 2005 spring to mind. We also lost heavily god knows how many times at Odsal. I'll always remember the tannoy system at Odsal playing "Wooly Bully" as Bradford scored another try and converted another goal on the end of another pasting at Odsal.
Of course the greatest moment of SL for me was Wide to West, which whilst devastating for you guys, was incredibly special and came at the end of a tough, tight play off game.
Good luck next season guys, I hope you do come bck to SL as a force one day. Although, if you do I probably won't be as nice as I am now.

Thanks to your superb analysis we now know we are just like any other club, and no really..we just hadn't the brains to work it out. Just fancy that eh, would you Adam n Eve it, bigger crowds when we're doing well and then they drop off when not doing so well, who'd have thought it. Worth a Nobel prize is that. Good luck with your PHD.'"
PhD please Bulliac, short for Phoney Dick. oops, argumentum ad hominem (abusive). Apologies, and hand held out for the ruler, 50 strokes please. None of this nice PM moderating with cucumber sandwiches and Earl Grey tea for me.

| but not as good as PP, if that last PM I had from him was a nice one then ouch for a nasty one. you can tell a PhD by their rather long rubbery proboscises and they humm a lot, sometimes several hums at a time, culminating in meeting Sally noises.
