Well, I know where you're coming from but he's correct, on paper at least. In any case, we really need to look at ourselves in comparison the clubs around us, like Wakey, London and maybe Salford [HKR? and not the likes of Wire, who are in a different league.

I agree it looks a forlorn hope at times, but it just needs a couple of the other bottom sides to be worse than us [Tbh, they are definitely no better, and that [i:1jk22a4eis[/i and all bets are off. Especially if we get some points back.

Are there any rules or guidelines on this that could be followed to predict the outcome of the appeal or is it entirely at the discretion of the panel.

They could give us 4 points back, but we would only drop them, knock them on, miss them or give them straight back to the opposition.

We're 13th. Even in the unlikely event of David Icke stepping off a lizard spacecraft with our full 6 points wrapped up in pink ribbon - we would still be 13th.

And I rate the chances of Icke and the spacecraft higher than the points back.

Problem is there is no bottom in our glass!

There is a rumour going round about some secret hearing where the Bulls apparently appealed to get their points back. Force majeure or something.

It sounds far-fetched, but I am totally discounting it as surely if any such thing happened, then we, Wakey, London and the rest wouldn't be left wondering by the RFL well into June with the season half over. No organisation, surely, would manage its affairs in such a potical way.

Well so far this week we've had:

Kaufusi goes back to Hudds
Pitts picks up a ban
Wakey strengthen
Hull KR's Weyman gets his ban overturned, meaning he can now play against us.

Nothing but bad news so far from our perspective. A bit of good news tomorrow would be nice!

I'm glad that we have an outcome so quickly. Obviously, reinstated competition points would be wonderful.
