I agree, but I mean the whole scenario where we get decent players for him and not Ryan mcgoldrick

| Quote Bulls Boy 2011="Bulls Boy 2011"I am a bit gutted that he's leaving. 109 games 39 tries and has the potential to be outstanding. However nobody is bigger than the club. We have an even better prospect in Bateman.
I do have to say that Whitehead stuck by us last year when he could have gone to Leeds or Warrington but I have to ask this........what role has his agent had this time round? What has his agent said to make this decision come at this point in the season? Whitehead was already too big for his boots but his agent must have said something interesting especially as he made first contact with Cummins rather than Whitehead himself.
I just don't understand why he doesn't just crack on with training and playing 100% for us until the end of the year at least. Help us have a crack at the playoffs then leave on good terms instead of leaving halfway through the year?
Obviously now it is customary to hate him as we hate Koppy. Koppy at least left with 1 game to go and no chance of playoffs. We have adequate cover at second row and now if I was the Bulls I'd do one of the three things:
1. Sell him to Salford and try to get Jordan James. Salford gives us James and say £50,000.
2. Sell him to Wire for Blythe plus around £30,000 for us as Whitehead is young, homegrown and has had exposure to the international environment. Possibly just a player swap with Blythe and Evans (or an experienced prop) coming our way that way we replace Whitehead with a quality player and also strengthen prop.
3. Sell him to Huddersfield and get Fairbank plus one other.'"
Problem everyone's overlooking with timing of request is that if he'd waited till end of season then other clubs are likely to have finished their recruitment and not have space left accommodate whitehead. Suspect we'll be stuck with him til end of season as most clubs will be at full cap, unless we can do a swap deal with whoever he goes to, to help then free up cap. Comes down to who wants him enough and has a player we'd be interested in in exchange. If Catalans are interested then they have plenty of forwards and are close to a top four team so might be acceptable to him. Wire maybe but they would have to do a player swap as there already at full cap ( reason we couldn't cancel Evans loan). Leeds maybe as longterm replacement for Jjb/Abblett.
Salford are probably only club with cash and cap space but he's seemingly ruled that option out. Maybe be an option til end of season on loan though to get him off our wage bill and we don't have to play them again while they have to play teams around us in table so we get a benefit in short term from strengthening them

I can't see it, but i'd love to get Elima back. Alright, he had a habit of being a penalty machine at times, but he's what our pack is missing IMO. Big, strong and agressive, fires everyone else up, gets under the other team's skin, like when he managed to get McIlorum sent off. As much as it pains me to say it, it's what Ryan Bailey does very, very well for Leeds.

| His decision is to ask to leave probably a based on a few assumptions, he may not see Bradford getting into the top 8, cant see anything changing next year, his agent has been approached by another club, believes he is top 4 club material !!.
If he wants to leave then let him go as he wont have his heart in any game for us, however don't expect to go for free is going to cost you.
At least he has been honest and up front with wanting to leave rather than getting another club and buggering off

| Perhaps he is thinking of the club by trying to raise money for the club (£100,000) by putting himself on the market.
No Sky monies this year, 50% Sky money next year - no brass to buy/tempt players. Shame it's come to this.
