I agree, and he'll be used to Potter's methods, tactics, techniques etc. which can only be good.

LMS hasn't continued to progress recently, but i'd still say he's better than Hargreaves. But as has been pointed out, Bryn will be alot cheaper, he will do a solid job and is still young. Our first four props look good next season. Anyone think we could still sign Dowes too though??

Exactly, given a straight choice with all other things being equal, I'd probably take LMS over hargreaves (or fielden for that matter), but my not completely uneducated guess is that LMS would, quite rightly, demand more of the available cap money %wise....so its not a straight choice and Bryn is still a very good signing for our squad balance.

I'd like us to confirm Elima as well and I'd be happy with our pack recruitment so far.

Which like you say would mean Elima and another. Of all the rumours on here, the only solid rumour left that hasn't been signed is Elima, so this definite other and the 'maybe more' will be a surprise to us!

Unless it's Leon, which you could only pray will be true! I'm just interested to know whether if Leon signs, what impact that would have on Orford's return. Is it feasible for the two of them to be here together? Imagine that..

Pryce and Orford in the halves would make alot of the stay-aways come back!!!


Elima & Dowes could be the two certain ones.

Is there space for Dowes, and do we need him?

We now have Lynch, Scruton, Bryn and Koppy for a front row, with Crossley, Hall, Langley, Sculthorpe that could all do the hard work if needed.

I'd like to think the Dowes avenue has closed now.

I'm not sure, if Sculthorpe leaves, then we have those four as experienced props without playing someone out of position.

5 is the amount that alot of coaches think teams should go with, so that the older ones can have a rest now and again (Lynch hasn't had that luxury this season).

Another rumour about an English second rower with NRL experience was floating arround though, but if Worrincy is staying (Him not being mentioned with Reardon and Sheriffe makes me suspect he is) then we don't need 2 new back rowers.

I do hope it's Pryce but we'll be extremely lucky.

The Dowes thing should entirely depend on Scully I'd say.

If Sculthorpe is staying, I don't think we need Dowes and money would be better spent elsewhere. If Scully goes, I'd like to see another prop brought in.

I'd rather have Dowes tbh. At least he's likely to be fit for most of the season.

I think we should call Scully a bad decision and let him go.

Worrincy's future may not have been sorted out yet, hence it not being in the papers like Sheriffe and Reardon's.
