| Well. I've just returned from my hols abroad (blessed total absence of any news, Bulls or otherwise) so today is my first chance to honour my pledge. And I will, but where is the positive news on the next 500k on the back of the pledge sucess??, did I miss it? Why has an EGM not been called if Caisley and co demanded one? If he felt he could demand one surely he must have enough support and I assumed one was inevitable, and I would have thought it would be sooner rather than later. Is this infighting costing us potential investors?
From my point of view we don't seem much further on than when I left a week ago, which is disappointing, but hopefully there are positive things happening behind the scenes.....or maybe I've just missed a whole load of good news stories in between the obligitory serious injury and cr@p cup draw stories?.....I suspect I know the answer to that one.
.. think I'm best just making good my pledge, doing my bit, then just save up for another holiday whilst hoping for the best.

| I think if you pledge it should be a binding contract ( You have the opportunity not to pledge) of which i can gather possibly 7.5 thousand members didnt. The whole point of this is to try and keep the club away from administration and move forward. THEREFORE IF YOU HAVE PLEDGED THEN PAY UP OR FIND ANOTHER CLUB TO FOLLOW

Dont they have to give 21 (or 28?) days notice to hold an EGM? They might be having it now!

There is a notice period, not sure on the length or how public the notice will be mind. I suspect if there is one we'll know about it beforehand from one source or another.

| There was something on the cover of League Express about an EGM. I didn't buy it though so I dunno what it says inside.

| The EGM will be sometime in May apparently. By then I would've hoped we'd have got the other £500k sorted. An EGM might force some musical chairs in the boardroom but unless a third party comes in and manages to buy a controlling lump of shares we're stuck with the same shareholders we've had for almost 50 years.

A few days ago Hood said there was going to be an EGM in a couple of weeks. If one of those 2 individuals is Caisley then I would assume they are working very hard on the other individual and those commercial interests so by the time of the EGM they have a package to put in front of the meeting. I suspect the timing of Caisleys intervention was so the pledge would fail as admin and prepack would be the least cost option and therefore maximise whatever funding he has got together, and would have the benefit of keeping the fans on side, whereas if it succeeded he has to wade through pretty much the same mire as Hood or upset the fans.

| My understanding is that board has to call an EGM WITHIN 28 days. If it has been scheduled for May that means the board has used the entire 28 days from the date Caisley requested it.
All delay is extremely damaging as clubs are now starting to offer contracts (anti-tampering or not). Administration is not the only way we may lose players. We are fast approaching the worst of all worlds. No investment to match the 500k, no new board, potenatially for another month (whoever they are) plus further delays for fit and proper tests etc and no resolution to the shareholding mess.

| Just wanted to say to people who are saying that pledging is making people feel like they"re doing their bit. First off I have been a fan of the Bulls for 17 years, have experienced the highs and most recently the lows like most of you on here. In an effort to do my bit once the "quest for survival" letters came through the door, I have bought an extra replica shirt which I wasn"t going to buy, donated £20 at the car wash, spent £70 at the auction on top of pledging my money to the club blindly without any new information about how we ended up s*&t creek without a paddle. However at the back end of last week I read a letter published on this website about Caisley potentially coming in and plunging us straight into administration with a buy back deal already sorted with the administrators, which may or may not be true. Really dont know what to do now, I am still holding onto my pledge money and I didn"t attend the Doncaster game as I refuse to put another penny into the club while it could still end up in the HMRC black hole (fair enough I was aware of this when I pledged) or even worse just wiping out part of our debts so someone who cares so much about us that he previously attempted a winding up petition on the club in an attempt to re-coup money owed to him, can just put us straight into admin and make as much money as possible from us as fans who pay willingly due to our unconditional love of the club, without anything in return.
This might sound daft but pleased dont be put off pledging by my little rant and before you say it I know I should pay up as I have pledged, and this has nothing to do with finding another club to follow if I dont pay up, its about common sense. all I am saying is we were told it was to stav off admin and I am asking is it really? This lack of transparency is absolutely wrecking my head as it probably is yours and all I want is a little more info than "2 interested parties" before I part with another penny.
I love this club as much as anyone and if me forking out £1, £50, £100 or hell even a grand could guarantee me it would save the club, our super league licence and hold onto our young and best players I promise you I would but I for one WILL NOT BE COUGHING UP MY PLEDGE MONEY UNTIL I AM TOLD MORE

| I'm not currently aware of what percentage of pledges have been honoured, but I hope those holding back pledges are in the minority. Otherwise those who have honoured their pledge might well be the ones who see their money go down the drain by such actions.
I too want to hear some more answers to some pretty important questions. However I agreed to pledge a certain amount without any conditions attached, so I honoured my pledge as promised.

| I am sorry to hear people are holding on to their pledges, however, I have to say in my eyes if you have pledged then you should pay as promised, its like giving chocolate to a child then telling them they cannot eat it. If you felt unhappy about pledging for whatever reason then you should have not made the promise, I fully understand that there are areas of the club that have a communication problem with the rest of the world and this infuriates us fans with small in descript comments and no constructive news that would make us feel better.
I for one have an amber season ticket, and pledged so if you want to put it that way I have over £800 to lose if the club go’s into administration, whilst not a lot compared to some people it’s a lot for me. Should CC put the club into administration I believe he will lose a lot of the loyal support this club has just demonstrated it has from the past few weeks.
Until people within the club recognise, the club, the players, the employees come first and put aside their petty squabbling and one-upmanship and get on with working together and getting this fantastic club back on the rails we are all stumped.
These are my own thoughts, so don’t go too hard on me as I don’t take rejection easily

| All the Club asked for was for the Fans and RL community to pledge to save the Club going into administation, there were no pre conditions attached and true Fans have paid up, those now witholding their pledges wanting more answers, well sorry but you are making excuses not to honour your pledge, we all want more answers but that won't happen till this monetary issue with the Club has is resolved!

| I think it has become clear from the last few weeks how many LOYAL fans we really do have after the Doncaster attendance and less than 30% of season ticket holders pledging

| The Donny attendance was disappointing, but we have no idea what proportion of households with ticket holders pledged. There will be many with two or three members per household, at which point expecting to get three pledges from that household seems unreasonable at best.

Just on that 30% figure, 3000 individual pledges that the club keep telling us about. This figure does not equate to 70% not pledging. I would suggest many individual pledges count for the household/family pledge. It did in mine. 1 individual pledge = 4 members, more than £100. So its not a fair relection of the figures IMHO to say 70% of members have not pledged, which is the implication.
Plus the Donny attendance I think compared fine with other super league clubs at home against lower league opposition. (Wigan 4198, London 652 ) I thought it was ok considering the extra amount people have been paying out for the club in the last couple of weeks.
