| From my view, from the stand side, it looked a definite 10 mins but no more. It was dangerous and the players head tucked underneath but it was more the momentum of the players rather than Campbell trying to cripple some one. It was harsh.

| Sorry but it was a red card any day of the week. You can't lift someone up and tip them over the horizontal like that, it was a very dangerous tackle.

Agreed. Seen the replay and still not changed my mind that 10 minutes was the correct decision. The Toulouse tackle we had earlier in the year was more dangerous and much more above the horizontal, but that was a sin-bin. Watching the replay, the ref was very quick to send Campbell off. Only spoke to one of his touch judges for about 2 seconds. Swinton players laughing and clapping tells you all you need to know.

I've seen far worse than that all year and not even get a penalty. Remember this one against Swinton? Just a penalty. Not even a sin-bin. Toulouse one? I could go on. We've had players speared, knocked unconscious from shoulder charges to the head, thrown into railings and the referees haven't acted on it. The consistency is farcical.

| Just watched the replay of the game. Did anyone notice Robinson (Swinton No. 2) put his forearm into the face of Willie Tonga when he went down injured and had to come off, again not seen by the useless ref. or touch judge. I thought Josh Barlow was a nasty git but Robinson beats him with ease.

| I think it speaks volumes when I spoke to Josh Barlow after the game and asked him what he thought of the sending off. He said himself he didn't think it was a red and it ruined the game.
I was surprised that he seemed quite a reasonable guy and was even complimentary about the bulls and fan base.
All things considered there's only so many times we can go through the same scenario. We need to wise up and find a way to win (for next year) regardless of the factors we clearly can't control.

| No news about an appeal for this (FWIW I think they should, penalty and probably 10 mins for me, but never a sending off!), or do we have to wait a week for the RFL to cite a championship player?

They normally get cited on Thursday i believe.
I bet a fair sum Robinson doesn't get anything due to "inconclusive evidence" Bit like the farce we had with Thomas getting thrown into railings. What about a referees report!!??

A quick look at the RFL website shows they released last week's Championship Disciplinary details (along with Champ 1 & Academy) on Thursday last week, so sounds right.

| We should ask for extra time to prepare our case. I believe there is a precedence.

| No charge for Shaun Robinson. Time to drag the sport down to the level of football with cheating and trying to get players sent off. All ok according to RFL. I give up.

I'd sooner see him get a ban and a fine for the play acting. As daft as it sounds an elbow/forearm has been in the game for years. If done intentionally then it is bad but a lot of the time it's instinctive or reactional. Play acting is just disgusting. Needs to be dealt with before more people do it. Bit like at the start of the season where players passed the ball at players laying in the ruck. That's been stamped out pretty quickly.

To be fair, he's only about 2 foot tall, so maybe a little girl's blouse.
