Exchanged for Paul Sculthorpe. I think Saints got the better deal.

| Well, Gaskell said that he was targeting the game against Leigh for his comeback. So either he's still not fit, or Lowes has decided to not risk him until the middle 8's. Now, personally, I think option 2 is a much better idea because, as I've said elsewhere, the next two games mean nothing

Agree with that, but there is also the argument that, after so long out, both Lee and Harry will probably need a couple of games to get 'match fit'.

Well I'm not sure regarding Gaskell. His fitness level shouldn't have dropped that much given where he was injured as he should still be able to train to a degree just not any contact training
As for Siejka, it's less his physical fitness but more his fitness to pull on the shirt that I'm more concerned about

| I'm assuming Leighs halves were not available today?

I actually thought Ridyard's kicking game in the first half was pretty good but it wasn't his best game. Ryan Brierley was very quiet today.
On Gaskell, I wouldn't play him against Halifax. We got the draw today against a more or less full strength Leigh side without half-backs, and second place is ours. I'd rest him up and make sure he's fully fit for the Middle 8s. The same goes for Mullaney.

I have posted just that, on another thread. Both came off limping during the Featherstone game, the previous week. Perhaps they are both feeling the strain of a long season, having only missed 2/3 games between them. Or, of course, it could be that, given the possession the Bulls enjoyed, you gave them a lot to do, defensively.

| He will be a great acquisition for Leigh next year. Would have transformed either team today.

| As a Leigh fan I would welcome Gaskell but the only place I've seen it mentioned is on this site. Has someone produced are really good wind up?

No, someone has tried a really weak wind up and it's been kept alive to mock that person
