Would expect Bulls to go through to the end of 2012 in SL and then have a soft landing into the Championship, playing at Odsal in 2013. Senior players discretely told to find other clubs.

Seriously, can you see a rival Chairman sanctioning Bulls to continue running a full cap squad (and a junior section filled with out-of-area kids), when they themselves struggle on??

This situation has created more questions than it has answered.

Assuming the deal is completed it would appear that the immediate threat has been lifted, but they have essentially put a "for sale" board up. Not sure I understand how this will work in practice as the club now appears to be in the position of being owned by its competitors?

be entertaining if the board who governs clubs suggests that with anti tampering deadline not upon us nobody can have agreed a deal with anyone else yet (who would argue?)

The more I think about it the more it seems that the only way all clubs would agree to such a deal, would be if the Bulls drop out of SL at the end of the year.

Pains me to say it but i can't see the Bulls competing against it's new 'owners' in 2013.

SL(E) won't be the owners by then. IMO.

Obviously it secures our immediate future until the end of the season which is fantastic. Wait and see.

This is highly likely to be an interim step to take control away from someone who does not have the best interest of the club at heart - only the creditors - thats his job.

Fairly confident this is the next chapter but not the final one as its not a long term sustainable solution.

That said - once the dust settles today - there will be a few pages of moaning from certain geographic quarters who are likely to turn purple..
