| Sammut is younger than I realised as well. I'd always assumed he was nearing the 30 mark, it's that daft haircut and facial hair I think!!

| Kept a keen eye on Joel Moon this morning versus the Bunnies. Looks to have some good footwork and scored 2 tries in that game. Hope there is some truth in that particular rumour.

| Jarrod Sammut would give us that extra spark, at the minute we have nobody who is unpredictable. He scores tries, has pace, agility and he can defend.

| If we get Sammut then presumably its bye bye to Herbert and maybe Briggs as well. Even if we're sniffing around Sammut it suggests that Potter is looking for another half, and sees that as an area to make changes.
Is Sammut a quota player, or does he get excluded because he plays for Malta?

| sammut doesnt count on overseas quota due to maltese passport but does count on non federation trained quota so either ah van or herbert would have to go to accomodate him.

Others/MINOTAUR.JPG Crude and slow Whino, your attack was no better than that of a clumsy child.:Others/MINOTAUR.JPG |

| Yes please to Sammut. Would certainly give us some real strength in depth in the halves, something we've not had since the Paul brothers and Deacon were all on the books. Out of 4 I'd say there's always 1 who will be injured or carrying a knock so 3 competing for 2 places will make for a healthy rivalry IMO.

| I'd be quite happy to sacrifice herbert to bring sammut in. would give us a bit of flair which we've been lacking for a few years now. likewise think moon would be an upgrade on ah van. If we did manage to sign these two would they classed as signings that would 'whet the appetite'?.

Herbert to go for me, Ah Van needs retaining along with Ainscough giving us options and cover for the Wing spots.

herbert would go for sammut. If we want moon too then ah van has to go. Given moon would probably play we'd need to retain ainscough or bring another winger in. Would karl pryce fit the bill?

| Sammut is a very off the cuff player, which can be good but i still can't see where our organisation will come from. Having not seen too much of Gale myself i wonder if he could bring that quality to the team.

Well Potter reckoned he would bring some direction and he is able to lead a side around the field. Likewise he is not a player I know much about, I tend not to bother watching games involving Harlequins on the tv.

Wouldn't get overexcited about moon yet. I was first to post rumour on here and I got it off t&a forum so it's dubious at best. Nzw fans think he's going to Canberra.

| Would be an excting signing for us. He is the sort of player that can conjure something out of nothing.
