Yep, which it needs to be really, pointless playing the reserves at this point (except at Keighley when we have another game 2 days later). Squad due to be announced tomorrow morning.
Only ones you can pretty much definitely rule out are Halley, Scruton & Diskin (as according to Connor's latest video, Scrutes & Disko are only back in full training next week after hernia ops).

wonder if they will hold elima back as well so he can debut in front a home crowd against wakey and boost gate a bit (although diskin will likely be debuting that game anyway so could serve same purpose).

Why how much were they asking? Only the majority of their supporters last week seemed to think it was far too much for a friendly!
Personally I don't mind £13.00 for any pro game, the likes of Fax charge up to £19.00 entry in the new stand, & if I remember rightly £17.00 to sit in the opposite side. Far too much for championship rugby more acceptable in the super league!
Out of interest what are the gate prices up at Odsal this time? Fantastic deal on the season tickets by the way, well done to the club for that. I very nearly invested, but stuck the my Rams ticket only.
Hope you enjoy Sunday (not too much) and hope to see plenty of you there.

Interesting you mention Fax. If their prices were cheap, I'd probably go quite a bit now that I live there. But with the gate prices set at what they are, I can't justify paying that to go and watch a game that isn't my team, when I'm fairly skint as it is.
It's a shame a few of the lower league clubs can't make their prices cheaper to encourage Super League fans to go to their games too (I know a couple do). I suppose it's all about economics though and they obviously think they make more money from some fans going at higher prices than more fans going at lower ones.

| Should be a good game. Are we going to be getting an announced squad list beforehand?

Wakefield charged £15 mate.
Gameday prices at Odsal next season are £18 for adult terrace, £19-£25 for adult seating in the Tetley's stand.

| As for the crowd I think we'll take around 400 and guess the attendance will be around the 1800/1900 mark.

We have a hardcore home support of around 650 so I guessing the gate will be more around 1200/1300.
Thanks for the ticket prices BTW. Might get myself over to Odsal when we have a free weekend. I used to go years ago with my mate (you were still Northern back then), if Dewsbury weren't at home. Unfortunately the last game I came to at Odsal ended in an absolute spanking against Saints!
All the best for the coming season.

| I stand corrected.
Surprised to see Disko & Scrutes in there, because as I mentioned, Connor states in this week's "Bulls Banter" video that they're back in full training next week after hernia ops. Perhaps they'll just play a little of the game to try and help get their fitness up to speed.
Be interesting to see Ah Van at fullback after already seeing him at Centre & Stand Off. If he plays aganist Wakefield on the wing, then we've seen him everywhere he can supposedly play.
Also interesting that he's picked at fullback with Platt at Centre. Perhaps putting to bed the idea that some seemed to have, that Platt might be first choice fullback due to his squad number?

| Quite a strong squad we're putting out. Again, it's not full strength, but the demonstration of our depth this year is impressive.

| Just so I'm clear - is the game all ticket? In other words, would there be any problem with turning up on the gate?
I might be free Sunday afternoon, so if its a reasonable day I'd like to have the option...
