| Quote Bulliac="Bulliac"Guess it will come down to money as Siejka is already on board for next season and it's hard to see where he would go to or to see us paying him up.'"
There's a few on board this season, but it didn't stop us ignoring them. I think we would be entitled to insist they take Siejka back under the Trades Descriptions Act. It would have been cheaper to have bought a Pot Noodle instead. It wouldn't be any less predictable, and if we got a curry one, it would have a better kick.

| This next few weeks are going to be very interesting. At least 10 players who have not had a look in should be looking to leave.
Will Gaskel stick to his word and see out his second year.
Will O'Brien and Addey stay and give it another go - although both may struggle to start in a top team.
Will green stick with Jimmy. I am guessing Green can be a very tough businessman and able to make the big decisions that affect his business. It all comes down to money.
The overriding factor though could be their predictions on ST sales. If they sit down and decide that fans will not buy ST and pick and choose games next season that will hurt the club badly. They will then either have to bring in new players, a new coach or even both to persuade fans to keep paying top prices for STs.
Green has bigger decisions right now than he did when he bought the club as just saving us made everyone happy.
Interesting couple of months ahead

| The problem with the sale of season tickets following this year is: Why bother with a season ticket when the only competition of interest is the last 7 matches.
(But there again I'm a glass half empty guy)

Well yeah, Lowes attitude of "Well this game doesn't matter and that game doesn't matter" will have an affect on sales. His little tantrum yesterday will also have planted a few seeds in people's minds because who's going to want to pay this year's season ticket prices to see a part time team?
I would hope that Steve Ferres announcement tomorrow is that Lowes is stepping down as head-coach. I don't believe that Marc Green will shy away from pulling the trigger if he feels it is needed. He said at the start of the year "I do not fail", well not getting promotion back to SL looks like a fail to me, Mr Green

I'm sure Lowes even stated that the first 23 rounds were a glorified pre-season warm up for the Super 8s.

| Quote The Writer="The Writer"No other sport would allow you to sign 11 mercenaries as Wakey did in order to keep them up. Had we played the side that lost 11 games or so on the trot then we would have probably won. Mulhalley for example was very pleased when he scored his try but he won't even be playing for Wakey next season! The system is clearly loaded in favour of S/L clubs and the word promotion is a joke.'"
We didn't break any rules with the signings and 10 of the starting 13 were with us at the start of the season!

| I think we all bought a season ticket knowing that to be the case surely? Despite the way Leigh carried on after their opening day victory it in reality counted for little. Every minute matters... well except in the Championship where the competition isn't really there other than maybe 4/5 teams.

Nobody suggested any rules were broken did they?

Didn't you enjoy the season though? The ending was bittersweet but think of all those away days, breaking records for attendances etc.
I would hope that people who bought a season ticket were entertained for the most part this season - I certainly was. And I'm already looking forward to more of the same in 2016!

| I there was perhaps a bit of a novelty factor this year though. Perhaps quite a few (not all) saw this as a bit of a 1 year adventure. I'd like to think we'll get good support again, but it's going to take a lot to match this years season ticket sales again I'd have thought.
I have enjoyed this season and I do believe we have good people running the club.

But you failed to mention anything about the rugby we played. By and large we won games without really trying, and to such an extent that when the opposition did put up a fight we were found lacking. We had a stream of quotes from players saying performances were unacceptable and that we just had a bad day at the office. This was starting to happen so much that it should no longer have been called a bad day at the office but simply a day at the office. So, in answer to your question, I am not looking forward to more of the same.
(I do realise that if you don't agree to virtually sign over your entire salary to the Bulls, go home and away and watch them, and then also go to every training session you are not considered a true supporter by some on this forum but that's how I feel)
