| For me:
Flanagan Jr
Millar
Gill
Kear
Dawson-Jones
Patton
Lawford
Baldwinson
Doyle
Walker
Wallace
England
Hallas
Flanagan Sr
Crossley
England
Academy Player (Ho?)
Flanagan Jr at fullback. Just because he’s actually a Fullback. And at least in attack he’ll give us something. Lawford because he’s actually a halfback and by all accounts has been great for the Academy/Reserves. So give him a chance.
Ho on the bench (unless Scurr is fit). He went on loan early on in the season so lets see what he has learnt and give him 10-15 in the first half and same in the second.
I’ve got to the point where I’m not bothered about the results, seasons done. Let’s see some development so that hopefully these lads get some experience and it benefits them.

| I think we will see some young blood this week (well I hope we do). I think MD didn’t want to throw GF jr, Lawford etc in at a derby and summer bash event broadcast on tv knowing it could be too much for them.

| Interestingly, If I remember correctly, Flanagan jr started the season in the academy as a half back. Possibly for 2 games, before he got switched to fullback.

| Quote Bullseye="Bullseye"Well Dunning said that after having a scan on the ankle he's seeing the specialist this week. Must say it didn't sound good but there was no mention of him missing the rest of the season.'"
Just because Dunning hadnt said it doesnt mean its not happening
Im hoping that the specialists sees something that wasnt picked up on the scan but as of now hes done for the year.

| This season is done I reckon we won't make the top 8 so the pressures off.

| Hopefully we'll see Flanagan and Lawford at the weekend. As has been said if you're not going to give a em a try in this game in the middle of an injury crisis then you may as well not bother at all.
If Dunning picks them I'll be there.

| Quote Bullseye="Bullseye"I know.
But if we can't win this one we may as well forget it. Apparently Dunning is down to 18 fit players.
Could do with getting Jowitt back in the side as Lilley is out with an ankle injury.'"
Dunning doesn't have 18 fit players in his full squad - Clawson isn't the fitness guy is he?

| How does George "Saturday night's all right for fighting" Flanagan get a game let alone every week?

Is that a nickname you've come up with on your own Sal? Surely with George's record you can do better? As for how he gets a game, well according to Dunning "he brings a lot of enthusiasm". You could say that about WW2 Kamikaze pilots as well. In truth he's not our first choice hooker but covers a spell there off the bench.

Clawson hasn't been the fitness guy for over 10 years at least. Looking at some of the players I think Nigel Wright is the dietician.

George "the testicle twister" Flanagan is a liability like Tetevano at Leeds. Unlike Tetevano there isn't a good player deep down inside him. Surprised Kear hasn't tried to poach him - very much his kind of player
What is sad is you see fitter players in the National League - that is a disgrace really.

Flanagan's fitness isn't as bad as some and he's knocking on a bit now too. He's yet to let his discipline get the better of him this season too which makes a welcome change. I think there are more deserving targets.
