Shame about Jacob's not opening while 2, might have to call here after the game.
Bullseye - is the Spoon's you mention the Sir Titus Salt? Is that still open, thought it had closed as a spoons pub? If it is still open and a spoons pub, maybe a place to go for food.

There's also Turls Green pub opposite town hall in centenary square. Only couple of mins from interchange with plenty of real ale - part of JD W'spoon Loyds bar chain

Yeah that's the one. Is was still open a fortnight back but was due to close. Brewhaus next door are taking it on apparently but I dunno if it will remain open during the takeover. |

| Isn't there a small ale bar called Made of Bradford up by KFC/Poundland? Also Beerhouse or Beerhause (spelling) on North Parade is good  |

I think that was just a temporary pop up bar.
That being said, there's some nice bars in Sunbridge Wells

I own The Hooper Micropub in Wibsey. We're about 10 mins walk from Odsal, open at 1pm on match days and we have 5 constantly changing cask ales, a fridge full of 'world beers' and a pilsner on tap.

We always have a porter or a stout on, sometimes both. We're next door to the vets so only a stones throw from the rugby club, surprised if he hasn't visited! |

FA,
We went up North Parade as recommended by the folks on here via the spoons and Ginger Goose for food, some good bars up there. In particular The Record Bar, The Sparrow Beir Cafe and Beer House are very good places to go for a beer. My fav beer from the day was The Kernow Imperial Stout (at The Sparrow) but at 9% I only risked a half.
We didn't get enough time to get to Hooper Micropub so that one saved up for the league game later in the year.
