| Forward dominated selections from me, I think we saw how good a team we can be when the pitch isn't a mud bath. The pitch was still quite soft but certainly better than the conditions at Hull, we'll go well on the firmer surfaces this year which will suit our more mobile pack.
Lynch Superb effort from our Captain, really stood up and drove the side forward.
Scruton A real enforcer performance from Scrutes, he made some crunching tackles and made good yards.
Nero I was close to giving it to Whitehead who really impressed me once again but I thought Nero deserved it after a slow start to the year. He kept Delaney wrapped up and scored 2 excellent tries. Let's hope he keeps it up.

Same old story - IMO 1 + 2 picked themselves. As I said last night, immense performances. But 3 is a hard one yet again. I think the increasingly-influential Heath (I suspect on second-watching possibly even more so) pips it this time from the ever-ranking Orford and Langley, Nero (best game this season by a mile), Whitehead (how good is this guy going to be!!? Hope the club looks after him.) Beaver and Sykes. But only Reardon looked a weak link IMO.

| Lynch for mine.
My problem is Macca is leaving him on too long and expecting him to pick up too much work. He needs to make Hall and Koppy pick up some extra work. If we let Lynch play 30 mins then rest him and bring him on for the last 30 mins he would be more effective IMO. Same actually goes for Langley having to do too much work every week, let Donno play a bit longer and Langley also would be more effective.

hard to only pick 3 as everyone put a fantastic shift in last night i think platt deserves a special mention looks a different player at centre hope he continues in that form even more impressive as he's just come back from injury.

| Voting so far seems to be dominated by the forwards with Andy Lynch and Nick Scrutton holding the top 2 spots. Heath L'Estrange in third is closely followed by an even spread of votes.
Remember voting ends on Sunday due to the game on Easter Monday.
Lynch - 14
Scrutton - 10
L'Estrange - 8
Orford/Whitehead/Langley - 3
Platt/Nero - 2
