But they were able to spin that with 15 games left to play we could turn the train wreck of the season around. Now in the cold light of day the massive under achievement won't be as easy to be deflected away from.

All bar one of the awkward ones of mine were - albeit they were mainly off-field. In fact, they were ALL awkward ones - which was why I wanted to know the answers. And when I emailed them to Duffy I told him it was in the expectation that I fully expected the club to not wish to answer them - but if you don't ask you don't get.

I believe (going on some postings I saw on here) that some questions that were submitted were either long and rambling, or were more in the form of statements and accusations than questions. Neither type were ever likely to be used - were they? One or two-line questions much more likely to be?

I did also notice though that there were less questions about performances than maybe might have been expected - so maybe those who felt their question was ignored should have asked Duffy afterwards why that was so - he was there for the asking! Hell, I went and asked him why that one of mine wasn't used - it was about the tax/image rights issues - and got both an explanation and a detailed answer (spun or otherwise).

There was an open question and answer session at the end. If you had an "awkward" question to ask then you could have asked it then.

It may not have been answered but at least you would have had a specific and legitimate complaint that you asked and they refused to answer rather than just guessing that any non-specific difficult questions would not be allowed to be asked.

This is not aimed at any one person BTW.

The awkward questions were starting to come towards the end that's why Winston Medley did his speech which appeased the masses.

my main question that wasn't answered or addressed was regarding that little sound bite that kept cropping up at the start of the season ie "we're not playing how we were coached". I asked what that was supposed to mean and asked why this was the case

Thats a fair call - unlike those who were not there, I indeed remember that issue never cropped up.

Did you collar Duffy or Hood or Macca afterwards and ask them? Must admit, I'd have liked to have heard the answer to that question!

unfortunatly i wasn't able to as the guy who'd given me a lift had to get home. but i was quite annoyed it wasn't asked and didn't feel comfortable asking it in the open section after the Medleymania sectioon

Thanks for the responses. I just can't see the club being brave enough to hold another forum any time soon espically as their isn't any positive vibes coming out of Odsal.
