Such a poor call…we can’t really retain/ majorly recruit for 2024 as you don’t know who the incoming coach will want… we never ever learn

Unless Noble is waiting to see how we go on if we get to the play off's as to whether he will step up and put his name to the job for 2024...

I I think O'Carroll may have got the job but wants to see the season out with Catalans and will join us at the end of the season.

I suspect it will be given full time to Greenwood if he does alright. Noble remaining in his consultant role and then an assistant or two brought in to fill the gaps left my Beattie and Dunning.

As we suspected, the quality of applicants must have been low.

Regarding recruitment it sounds more and more like the head coach has very little input, which might well put a few coaches off to start with.

I thought it was said earlier in the season that players were identified by the coach (obviously Dunning at the time) but contract negotiations were being dealt with by Noble and Hirst?

Well recruitment hasn't stopped whilst we are without a HC..
