| Will look forward to listening to the comedy duo when their audio commentary is married to the video of this game, Gledhill needs to put a new battery in his field of play GPS as his describing the wrong part of the pitch from where the action happens a fair bit, Hobson though enthusiastic couples it with too much ignorance and wrong reading of play!
Yeas I know its done live without the benefit of video and replays but they both can do better!

Stand out performers include Oscar Thomas, Mitch Clarke and AOB. Only injury concerns appear to be Alex Mellor who had a jaw injury.
Hopefully we kick on and get another win against the Bulldogs and continue our charge on the top 4.'"
Agree, but I think Steve Crossley should be on that list - i lost count of the number of offloads in the first half! I know people are praising Mitch Clarke a lot, but I think Crossley has been our best front rower this year.
Very professional performance from the lads. Referee who actually knew how to referee a game for a change. Oldham tried to slow ptb but referee didn't let them and kept blowing for penalites.
Come on now lads. Let's kick on.

No such hope of that being the case on sunday - Cobb...

There's no need to put batteries in anything mate.
The problems you're experiencing are due to us calling the game on the opposite side from where the camera is situated.
At Odsal we're based in the main stand but the camera is filming from the Northern terrace. It was the same at Oldham last night, the camera filming the action was on the opposite side to the press benches.
I've asked the club if they're going to paste our commentaries over the footage for Bulls TV that we should at least call the game from the same stand as the camera.
Unfortunately this isn't always feasible, hence why I'll be saying "O'Brien, brought down 10m out and 10m to the left hand side of the posts" which is a true statement from our view point.
However, if watching from the camera filming side it would be "O'Brien, brought down 10m out and 10m to the right hand side of the posts."

Amen.
Hopefully he shakes off the knock to feature against Batley.

Having you considered taking the direction out of everything you say?

Surely if he's to the left of the posts, he's to the left of the posts, regardless of what side of the pitch you're on?! Maybe you're referring to things as being on the 'far side'?

The commentary goes on BCB and the Trevor Foster Audio loop for the visually impaired.
It's imperative that the direction of play is mentioned.
The only way to stop this is for us to be calling from the same side as the camera.

This is what I was going to say
I guess it would only be a problem if you called the play as being over on the far side touchline (for example). From your point of view this would be true, but if the camera was on the opposite side it wouldn't make sense.

Well said Mick; this was explained at start of Worky Match.
I congratulate you on your BCB commentaries which are the only way to follow Bulls if one cannot get to the game. You provide the facts, atmosphere, information to a very good standard.

Cheers for the kind message.
I'll probably mention it again on Sunday, so Dennis understands that the ISDN line we use is in the main stand - opposite the camera.
If the club can move it to the Northern terrace side and move us in the old Sky TV hut then we wouldn't have this problem.
Anyway enough talk of cameras and commentary, haha.
