But I'm very very pleased to hear you say it, because I know you are not easily fooled and are a passionate fan, so it helps me in thinking I've read it right too. It can be lonely ploughing these furrows sometimes, when you stick your neck out based on your judgment, and set yourself up for a potential big fall if you judge it wrong. Big respect to you too, for taking the trouble to actually go find out some facts, and then to consider them and form a view accordingly. I'm really heartened to read what you said.

Because they're ultimately in charge of how the club manages its finances and if they've cocked things up why should anyone pay the price for their mistakes? ATEOTD if they didn't want to ever find themselves in a situation where the guarantees may be called upon they shouldn't have agreed to give them in the first place.

Maybe if they had never taken the job of director on in the first place, for no pay but because of their passion for the game and the club, they would not have found themselves in the position of having to have given the guarantees?

I wonder how many others on here would have taken on the job, as a volunteer and getting nothing out of it personally except a load of grief, on those terms? If you were a Bulls fan, and reading your comments, if I was a director I'd say bollox to the lot of you then, go find someone else to do the job. And put your money where your mouth is by putting your own personal assets on the line.

So they can make guarantees but shouldn't be accountable for them?

Does Peter Hood not have shares that he can sell at a profit should the Bulls become "debt free"? Would he not have benefitted had the Odsal Sports Village become a reality?

And he can feel free to say bollox to the lot of us because he's ultimately responsible for this debacle.

I've not enough insider information to say whether the board is at fault or not. I do know that a few years ago as a fan I felt more part of the club than I do do now. Whether it's the attitude of the Board or lack of success I could not tell you. What I definitely do know is sitting in the North stand at Hull seeing the boys give their all is that i don't want the Bulls to finish. So I have pledged not for the board I've pledged for the City of Bradford and for me.

Agree, said the same at the event today was like going back in time. Hopefully as well as saving the club we can maintain and build on the good things that come out of this adversity. COYB

Lacking a sugar daddy, this club will always spend every penny of its income. Therefore its net assets will always be modest, and the shares will always be of modest value.

And he has given heaven knows how much of his time in recent years to running the business, when he could (and probably should) have been running his own business. For free. Care to put a value on that? It will be many hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Are you ready, willing and able to step up and take his place? To do it for nothing, take on very large personal financial exposure and pay a modest amount for some shares that you will probably never make much, if anything on when you can finally get out?

And if not, do you know a man who is?

Regardless of how good or how bad a job he has done, he was the one who did it. I did not see any others queuing up to take the job on. And, since until recently he only held 7% of the shares, the other shareholders could have booted him out anytime they chose. If they could have done a better job themselves.

I hold no brief for Peter Hood. There are plenty on here who know me who know exactly where I stand. What I DO feel very strongly about is injustice. It does my head in. Why do you think I am spending ages on here trying to fight a battle that should not be mine to fight? Because I can't stand the injustice in some of what is being said. And because that could lead to the demise of the club I care about so much, and have proved I hope by my actions over the years.

I'm sorry Adey but if you're not linked to the board then you are in serious danger of being made to look a fool again. I myself had a long chat in 2010 with Andrew Bennett and was impressed with his passion and plans for the club but at the end of the day they are the businessmen whose company has failed. Raising capital by blackmailing people who love a sports club and offering nothing but the chance of allowing the same people who oversaw the debacle to stay in place is not the mark of a good businessman (unless they pull it off that is).

I'm also a bit confused as to why you are fighting a battle to protect the directors so vehemently when they have made you look like a fool on more than one occasion. Now you've spoken to them everything has been explained clearly? Smacks of asking a fox with blood around it's mouth why your chickens have been eaten.

I am not linked to the board or the club in any way whatsoever. The only time I had any linkage was when I sat on the Board of the Bulls Foundation several years ago.

I am fighting the battle for the reason I said. When, in all honesty, has the current board made me look a fool? Or, if they have, when it was not instead of my own doing?

I am fighting the battle because I have concluded that the alternative could very well be oblivion for the club. I am not telling people to pledge; that is a matter for them. All I ask is that people at least try and acquaint themselves with as many facts as they can before reaching their verdict.
