Try not to spaff in your pants. It's unbecoming.

| Quote paulwalker71="paulwalker71"The Squad sticky at the top of the forum lists 31 players. If the eight aforementioned have indeed left and working on the assumption that the 3 Aussies won't come back / get visas, then we now have 20 players.
By tomorrow lunchtime I would imagine we'd have too few to raise a team'"
Aussies players will come back, but probably only to get there stuff.

| Surely it's not a case of the players leaving, the club left them.
We already have no players, none.
What there is are some free agents who already have Bradford training kit at home and could be receptive to not being unemployed in short order. Some of whom, including our previous coach, and wonderfully offered to join any new club, but the clock is ticking...
What we need sharpish are owners to form a club asap so they can approach these free agents and try to cobble a 17 together if we intend to pick up the rfl's challenge of minus 12 and minimum funding.

| Quote paulwalker71="paulwalker71"Most of the 'present players' will be gone. Our team, if there is a team, for this season will look very different to what was envisaged - and will have to be cobbled together from whoever nobody else wants.
And I think you are a bit optimistic if you think the Top 4 is 'the plan' for next season. More realistically it would be survival - and if we can avoid relegation then that would be amazing.'"
I meant 2018...I'm not that deluded.
Survival this season, avoid relegation..
Hopefully work towards top 4 2018

| Quote Ginger="Ginger"This may have been covered elsewhere, so apologies if it has... given that players are now free agents, why is it that they were not offered for sale whilst under administration. The value of the contracts may not have been much compared to the overall debt, but from a creditors perspective, surely trying to recover something is better than them joining clubs after.'"
Why would anyone pay a fee, knowing they'd likely be available for free?

| If the administrator sold players it would have just gone to Creditors aka M Green.
Still not sure why a bid was turned down if no assets.

I know what you mean. If he actually had the money behind him to ensure the club could move forward he'd have been in charge the last two years instead of Green.
But he hasn't been, has he?
That being said Rohan has said he would stay on as coach and a number of players have said they would stay too.
Hopefully there will be a club for them to stay at

But getting max value for the creditors is his legally mandated duty.
The only thing that makes sense to me is they were serious about selling as a going concern, someone gambled and it didn't come off. And there was no time for a fire sale.

| here's my issue : if the administrator had accepted the bid that the rifl recommended why would the creditors be worse off than liquidation? If that had occurred the newco could have retained player registrations and sold or had value from them..

I'm starting to think that Lamb is a bit of a pillock. Anyone in bed with Gledhill demands my derision.
