George will no doubt get in before Tom.
I still think it's a bit soon to be playing them though (although a choice between anyone and Worrincy would pick the "anyone" option).

I doubt either will feature in many games this season, they appear to still be quite far down the pecking order. It would take probably 2 of our props to get injured before they are looked at...........

They're 17 and are on 3 year contracts IIRC. They will get their chance, but its more likely to be next season than this.

| I cannot see them playing this year. It would be unfair on them to throw them in against seasoned professionals. They need to develop at their own pace.
looking at the stats in the league express, Worrincy missed 3 tackles and we know what happened there! I was more intrested to see how many carries he had made, the wife pointed out he was moving away from the ball on many occasions. The answer was one carry - pathetic for the amount of time he was on the pitch.
Donaldson and Whitehead should be in front of him all the way now. Donaldson was going crazy after the "third" missed tackle try. Must be a bit of a bummer knowing this man is keeping you out of the team week in week out.

It seems he's rapidly playing himself out of the team. (Let's hope he already has)
With the wealth of young backrowers we also have, it wouldn't surprise me that he's either been told or has guessed he won't be getting a new deal next year.

| Its looks as if Worrincy is a strong favourite in the Michael Platt Trophy
Hopefully Platty will decide to let him have it this year at least!

Platt & Sheriffe will be secretly loving how bad Worrincy is playing. Every team always has one player that is treated as a scapegoat, whether it's justified or not (which Worrincy's is imo). While Worrincy is under fire, it means previous scapegoats are off the hook for now!

Rightly so for Sheriffe, he's been good enough so far. And Platt hasn't played yet, but if he plays like he can (at his best) then Worrincy can continue being the scapegoat

Indeed.
Most improved player by some distance for me.

He definitely is. Although I'd say Sykes would be chasing behind him too, he's been far better this year (as a centre, since he played well at 6).

I watched the game on sky, and I have been so dissapointed with Worrincy this year that when he came on I found myself just watching him instead of watching the game. I think that he knows that he's not upto the job. He doesn't look at all interested. I noticed that he was following the ball around, but not making himself available and every time there was a play the ball he was stood directly behind it where he knew full well he was never going to get a touch.

A trick known as the "Leon" when you're not winning.
