Don't talk silly. People think it never rains it Sydney or Melbourne. They play RL in the winter in Sydney and the grounds are like they are now at times.

I bet most of our new Aussies have never played on a pitch like that before. If we had Wally Lewis and Andrew Johns at 6&7 they'd take time to adjust and gel.

This 6,7 & 9 combination isn't going to work. Kearney not a 6, Orford is overrated and L'estrange, well, he's nothing on Newton.

Well the 7 & 9 has worked before for Manly. Based on last season I wouldn't take Newton over L'Estrange. And Orford is a Dally M winner. Did you watch last years WCC?

He is quality, if he doesn't prove it by the end of the season then i'll be shocked and disappointed.

Watching my team lose is one of the worst feelings in the world, but I don't let it cloud my judgement, Saints were good today, I don't think we were expecting it at all. I also think that we go into games with either the completely wrong, or no tactics at all. L'Estrange was still a good player, and a good player in the NRL means he is definitely good enough for SL.

Maybe you aren't as patient as me, but I will be waiting a few more games before I start getting really on their backs.

I'm basing my judgement of Orford on watching him play in the NRL.

I must confess I don't really understand the line of arguement that you are not allowed to say "macca out" unless you can simultaneously give a better alternative. I know were on a hiding to nothing in Afghanistan - it doesn't mean I know what we SHOULD be doing instead.

One more game, three more games, maybe next year, maybe next month. Same old nonsense Warrington's insane board used to keep Cullen in a job three years too long. Great assistant coach I dare say but no more time in the top job at Bradford imo.
