That kind of highlights a slight lack of experience in the pack, excluding the hookers. If we are looking for a prop as direct replacement for Lynch, I'd hope for someone a bit older. When Lynch left I was wondering if we should try and bring in younger less experienced forwards with potential where we might be able to afford more than 1 giving us better cover, and who could grow with the club over a couple of year but should we lose Scruton to injury we really have nobody with the same game time.

Shillington named in the Test squad so chances of him signing for The Bulls are rather slight.

cant see him coming to SL at this stage in his career. Kite maybe a possibility but would take a big chunk of our cap I'd imagine. not sure we could accomodate him without likes of platt/sykes leaving to free some space.

Not yet he hasn't. He agreed it before the final but not signed, apparently.

Most players at that stage of their career have a Super League release clause.

No idea how accurate this is (no reason to doubt it), but I think it would be a shame to miss out on one more season from Morrison, looks like his focus is very much on a future in coaching - having applied for the Batley head coach position first and maybe thats where the talks with Bradford are stalling if this article is true?

catalan as in a french player or a nrl player currently playing for catalans? If its a french player then we'd still have an overseas spot available as french players count as fed trained.

The stumbling block with morrison is more likely his registration status not him getting an offer. If we are waiting on others or his own situation to get resolved it does lead to other interested parties able to steal a march.
I feel Glenn is still not the right option for us, he is not the player he was when he left, if he is going to be more of an assistant ( we may be waiting for LSH contract to officially finnish before we announce as well possibly) I would take him but the wages and fact his status counts on quota (at present) i feel we could get more value for money elsewhere - constantine mika looked a potential option as a backrower.

Menzies already turned us down to stay, raguin off to union? ferriol would be amazing, mounis solid potential pack leader, baile dirty as hell, paea not a stand out, baiteri struggled this year, fakir i would be happy with, casty hmm not what id want. Michael simon seems potentially ok but not really what we need.

Baitieri would be great, the kid knows no fear and has a bit of dog in him we're lacking. Can't see why Catalans would let him go though along with the others.
