Think it's from Twitter. Martyn Ridyard (yesterday) wished Liam Hood 'good luck at Widnes' and he tagged Gregg in his comment.
With Widnes having Olly Ashall Bott, they don't need 2 excellent full backs.

They've also got Jack Owens. May be able to play pretty much anywhere from 1 to 7 but fullback is his best position IMO.

Can't see McNally going to play 2nd or 3rd fiddle.

I very much doubt Kear would want to release him either. Pickersgill had an outstanding season, but Kear still went with Mcnally for the final.

Anyway it's probably people just putting 2+2 together and getting 5. It's probably just because all 3 are mates. As others uave said, Widnes look strong at FB. They need to recruit heavily in other areas.

That being said, I believe Moss is still out of contract at HKR, if Widnes were to pay us for McNally, I wouldn't be apposed to seeing some of that money invested in bringing Moss back to Bradford. Especially given the way he and Chisholm were able to link up when they were here before.

I reckon McNally was just copied in because they're all mates as Bullmania says. Moss has gone back to Australia I think.
