We were linked to Wheeldon before when McNamara was in charge. He's nowt special so that figures.

Apparantly Mason has had quite a good season and wasnt far off been selected for the Origin Series. I certainly think he would be a crowd puller even with his attitude and off field antics. Just what we need some agression aswell.

It looks 100% that Ainscough will be here in 2011. Anyway the interview with Willie Mason in the Hull Daily Mail says '' Mason wouldn't discuss the details of any negotiations, apart from admitting he was seeking a three-year-deal.

He described the new interested party as 'a good club who have been up there at the top before.'

He's already stated that Hull KR have made a good offer, and the only other club interested is Huddersfield who have'nt been at the top for years, so are we the 3rd interested club. I hope we are anyway, i think he'll be a great signing.

I think there's a lot of kidology in player/agent speak...

"I'm not sure about it but I may be interested in moving to SL"... No one in Aus is offering enough yet

"X club is interested"... my agent has told club X I'm available

"we're talking to Y club"... the club have said "oh yeah, what sort of terms is he looking for"

etc.

King Karl, I know he's under contract but unless someone can update me to tell me it's off, then it's still possible.
