The Senior one to me, they kind of got the verdict correct, but the punishment wrong.

It's a problem I've noticed for a while now (Burrow is terrible for it) when players thrash about on the floor and swing their legs around. They said about Senior that it was accidental and he didn't intend to kick someone in the head. Well, that's correct, I'm sure he didn't intend on kicking him in the head. But that doesn't take away from the fact that throwing your legs up in the air like that is dangerous. The accident was the contact, it wasn't the flailing.

I've said for a while that someone's gonna get a boot in the face one day and then it happened this weekend. While I appreciate he didn't mean to do it, it's almost like throwing a punch and intending to stop your first right in front of someone's face to scare them. If you accidentally misjudge it and smack them one, while you didn't intend to do it, you shouldn't have been throwing your first there in the first place!

bit like saying the refs should be consistent in their interpretation of rules and we still different interpratations each week depending on individual ref appointed.

Thought it was only Leeds who got away with suspensions.
Clear case of a one game ban for Sykes if ever there was one and low and behold he gets it rescinded.

Given a choice between you and B2010 or SSM, I think we'd settle for you tbh. Those two personas haven't even made it into apprentice troll grade yet.

I saw numerous examples of this practice during the 2 televised games this weekend. In fact I would say it is almost physically impossible to swiftly get up off your back without rolling over or using your legs for momentum. I don't think there will be many fines dished out.

Whilst I too saw a number of flailing legs in the televised games this w/e, [iand the following isn't because it was Keith (who regardless of his shirt, is still a class centre IMHO) [/i, I didn't see anything quite as wild / and exaggerated as the incident in question.

I sort of get what you're saying about regaining your feet, but in all honesty don't you reckon it was more about getting the opposition off your legs rather than [iactually [/iregaining your feet? ( I appreciate you can't do one without the other) I don't get your "[imomentum[/i" rule with regards to the flailing legs/boots though



It was a rotten accident, and just that, exacerbated by the strength and vigorous manner in which he kicked out - something, FWIW, I note he didn't do to the same extent this weekend.

Lie on your back. Get someone to sit on your face. Then try & get up without using your legs for momentum.

Surely that is not the kind of...activity...we should be discussing on a family forum?

I do worry about what goes on out of hours in Ilkley sometimes...
